To kind of want this dress

Like I KNOW it's awful, I know it's a costume for Mrs Christmas... But I still kind of love it. I think the kids would be delighted if I wore this Christmas day, too. Is it just too horrendous to consider?

Don't do dressy christmas, but I do have the most amazing pointy christmas slippers that come out for about a week each year - coming up to year 4 I think.

Bigbrow I've no idea on sizing, never bought from there. It's British Retro though as PP said! Assume bum size wouldn't matter with it being a flared skirt?

Go for it - if it makes you and your kids happy, it’s a good thing in my book!

My outfit involves an apron for most of the day, I would melt in that and destroy the cuffs cooking, but if I was eating out then would love it.

I'm two minds. If it is lovely fabric, soft and gorgeous and you like it, it could be fab. But I suspect

1. It won't be lovely fabric
2. It will be VERY hot
3. That fur will be itchy (unless if is very expensive)

I do love the look of it. I'd love to wear it to Christmas morning church in a traditional village church, preferably on a frosty morning!

I've got a very similar coat which I absolutely ADORE. I'd wear that dress in a heartbeat (mind you, I also wear a tutu skirt quite regularly). Bloody well go for it OP!
