Starbucks or costa?

The Christmas menu out for both and I'm deffo a costa girl.
What's everyone's fav ?

Though I live in Caffè Nero.

Of those two I prefer Costa. But I quite like Tim Hortons as well. Mainly for the Timbits.

They are both pretty rubbish!

Caffe Nero then Pret then Costa and never Starbucks. Bluurggh. It's just weird tasting slightly brown milk. Horrible stuff. I tend to favour the independent coffee shops over all, but I am a total coffee snob!

Coconut flat white is lovely. Always ask for only 1 pump of syrup in their seasonal drinks to make them less sickly.

And their cheese and tomato toastie, I could eat every day, if my 2 year old didn’t nab most of it

Starbucks, but I get the blonde espresso so they can't roast the shit out of it their eggnog latte is something I look forward to all year!

I don't really like Costa (they don't seem to understand what a flat white is - hint: it shouldn't come in a 12oz cup ) and Nero tastes so burnt and awful to me.

Pret does pretty good coffee but they're few and far between here. The first time I went to London I couldn't believe how many there were!

Nero if I had to go to a chain. The coffee in Costa and Starbucks is rank! I'd always choose independent coffee shops over a chain though. We have some fab ones locally and I like to support them.

I don't go to the tax avoiders Starbucks. Agree with those who suggest an independent business, as I did yesterday.

I will backtrack slightly on my post and say that I frequented an independent place beside my work for a long time and their coffee was so good that I turned several colleagues onto them, and I regularly bought bags of their ground coffee for home. As soon as I opened the door the owner would get to work on my flat white

However, he packed up really suddenly and moved to the Highlands to live out his dreams of rural living

Starbucks is undrinkable, Costa is dull & genetic and their lattes taste more like hot cheap milk.
Independents get my vote too!

I prefer Costa though wouldn't have any of their festive drinks. They are way too sweet. This article is scary!

Costa is way better than Starbucks but I usually use an independent which is far superior to them both.

Starbucks but I like the arrangement Costa have with their Costa cards and they do good brownies

I go to local cafes. Costa and Starbucks are soulless and have crap food and coffee.

Nero does beautiful hot chocolate. The coffee is okay.

Cafe Nero wins hands down imo for a chain, and Baltzersens in Harrogate tops them all ☕😍
