To think this is a bit disrespectful?

If an adult child brings their SO to visit their old family home, and in full view of their parents and siblings, start to kiss passionately? It was so uncomfortable I had to leave the room.

Thank god I'm not alone in thinking this! I could see how uncomfortable others looked but no one else left the room, so I thought maybe I was overreacting.

Yes I am a sibling. It was my sibling who initiated the kissing with their SO. I honestly feel a bit nauseous.

I called it disrespectful because surely if you enter your parents' home, you should act accordingly? I wouldn't sleep with someone whilst staying in my parents' house, and I wouldn't kiss them in front of everyone either. But I am a prude Grin
