How did you get famous? What for?
I'm incredibly curious and it's been slow tonight

A TV sports pundit has children in the same year group as my DC. We were seated next to each other at last year’s Sports Day. He asked me to look after his bag and then wandered off. I had a quick glance and the bag was full of canned G&Ts. Good man!

Be if my very good school friends was Michael Rosen’s niece. We used to go round after school because he was usually in. He wasn’t well known out of academic/literary circles at the time though.

Not famous myself, friends with famous, or even related to someone famous but I do look similar to someone famous who has disappeared from our tv screens. I've been approached in public, particularly back in the 90's when this person was on UK tv a lot and asked if I'm them. There was a Facebook thing years and years ago where you had to change your profile pic to someone famous who you look like so I swapped mine to a photo of them and my friends still thought it was me 😆

My brother is the frontman in a well known band. Plays reading and Leeds festivals etc. If I’m out in public with him he gets recognised and asked for selfies etc. Probably helps that his dress sense is pretty unique 😆

I love Michael Rosen. I was so relieved when he got out of hospital. He was severely ill with coronavirus a while back.

One of my friends from infant school, who is now a DJ, is the son of Robert Rankin (a sci-fi writer from Brighton) and I used to go round his house, but I didn't know for years who his dad was until I bought one of his books and my mum reminded me. We had another writer living on our road as well - Miriam Moss? She's not massively famous but she did kids' books.

I’ve been in 5 seasons of a reality show aired on one of the Sky tv channels. I wouldn’t say I’m super famous but I am recognised on a near daily basis (not everywhere I go and definitely don’t attract crowds or anything!)

@GertieBassett Thunder is my husband’s favourite band of all time. He goes to all their gigs and is a die hard fan. Honestly he just loves them. He would be v jealous.

I know a few famous people and all the ones I know are pretty miserable...just my experience

Not famous here but we were on holiday in Hawaii and DD befriends some kids in the pool as kids do. We chat with the parents Every day in passing, DD holds Court as she usually does, parents think she’s great (she is!). On our last night we are in a restaurant, this family is also there, and there is lots of chatter about it being ‘him’. Had to Google....it was only Olaf from Frozen (aka Josh Gad) also LeFou in Beauty & the Beast, Elder Cunningham in Book of Mormon etc. We had no clue!!

I was in a few West End productions and did some TV adverts, Breakfast TV appearances flogging my show.

My grandfather was famous. It was never an issue as he was just an ordinary man in real life and my grandmother worked in a shop. We grew up knowing what he did but it was just a part of our lives. He was on TV occasionally and appeared in 'This is your life'. I have the receipt for his appearance fee. They paid him 10/6d.

I remember being at school. One day the history teacher sent for me at lunchtime. I thought I was in trouble. He said ' You never told me your grandfather was ' (name) I was surprised at how amazed he was. It never entered into my head to tell anyone.

My OH is quite well known in certain circles. Has won a few awards, and recently sold a film that will be distributed in the US/Canada. Has a regular radio slot. But unless you're in the scene you probably won't have heard of him (yet!)

Well back in the day, before social media, my great grandfather discovered vitamin C and won the Nobel Prize!

I’m not famous but earlier this year someone connected to politics made me famous for a bit. Am waiting for the second lockdown to see if he makes me famous again.
