What would you prefer dog owners to do?

Let they dog poo and leave it on the pavement
or
Pick it up, place it in a bag and pop it into your rubbish bag.

I took my dogs out earlier and my chihuahua done a poo I picked it up and popped it in someone’s bin which was on the pavement ( I would never walk into someone’s front garden to put it in. Only if it is only the pavement or up against the front garden wall and I could lean over) and the woman came out and started shouting at me telling me I should hold on to it till I find a bin/get home. There is hardly any public bins about till I get to park which is a 10 minute walk. I feel like letting my big dog go and poo right outside her dog and leave it!

You do neither, you carry it until you find a public bin or until you get home and put it in your own bin, it’s bloody rude to put it in another persons bin!

Carry a bag and either put it in a public bin or your own when you get home. How is this a question? How rude is it to put it into someone else's bin

It's classed as offensive waste and it's your responsibility to dispose of your dog's poo safely. Leaving it on the pavement is unpleasant and potentially dangerous. Putting it in someone else's bin unfairly passes your responsibility to someone else. So put it in a specific dog waste bin or take it home and put it in your own bin.

I'd prefer them to do what I do. Pick it up and carry it until I find a bin / am home.

Since when was a Chihuahua a "big dog?"

Pick it up and take it with you. If i wanted shit in my bin I'd get a dog of my own.

I don't blame her for shouting at you to take it home. It stinks a bin out particularly when they don't get emptied for two weeks.

Pick it up and put it in your OWN bin,or a public bin.Absolutely vile to put it in someone else’s bin,you would be wearing it if I saw you putting it in my bin!

If I saw you putting dog poo in my bin then I'd be straight out to either tell you to take it back out or fish it back out and give it back to you. Dog poo stinks so I wouldn't want to lift the lid when I dispose of my own house waste and get a whiff of your dogs shit in my bin. It's not my problem that there isn't many bins on your walk, bag your dogs shit up and walk it to the nearest bin or take it home with you, simple.

I had someone put there dog shit in my recycling bin! I have a dog i take it home and pop it in my general waste bun why should someone else have to smell my dogs shit!

Id be furious if you put the poop in my bin. if you're going for a walk without many public bins then take a bag with you so you can carry it around until you find somewhere to dispose of it

How do you know if it’s the right bin? There’s so many different coloured bins I get confused . What if you put it in their recycling .

Anyway, I would just carry until I found a public bin.

I once stepped in dog mess and it went on my jeans. The whole day I bloody stank it was the worst smell ever. It had a tangyness to it . Even the girl next to me in class was like what’s that smell. I had done my best to remove it from my jeans before class but the smell still lingered. I wouldn’t want it in my bin to drink and you won’t know when the next bin collection is either

Don't know why you think those are the only two options? I would like you to pick up your dog's poo, bag it and take it with you to the next available public bin. You should "pop" it in there (use of this word implies you don't think it's a big deal). Shall I come and "pop" a bit of my cat litter in your bin?
