Aibu to tell you about my quick awesome lunch...

2 slices of wholemeal bread..toasted. Good spread of lurpak on each. A fried egg on each, good bit of tomato ketchup and then topped with Batchelors baked beans. So good. What did you all have for lunch?

Spag bol

A slice of Victoria sponge for starters, followed by homity pie. Right rebel me!

Home made leek and potato soup (made last week) and 3 slices of granary toast. I am trying to be good due to T2 diabetes diagnosis.

A roll filled with cold roast lamb and coleslaw. Homegrown tomatoes on the side. Delicious.😋

Leek and potato soup with oatcakes.

Baby portobello mushrooms sautéed in butter and olive oil with garlic granules, dried thyme, pepper and salt, on warm crusty half baguettes topped with slightly melty taleggio.

I LOVE beans and ketchup together.

It turns them into hardcore beans.

Hardcore beans are beans with chilli flakes or hot sauce!

Cheese on toast with HP and some bacon frazzles on the side, was having a rubbish day but had a timmy ache after it!

Seeded bread toasted, topped with chopped cherry tomatoes, garlic, basil and a drizzle of olive oil. Amazing.

I didn’t have lunch today but a recommendation: half a ciabatta, cover with a bit of pesto, red currant jelly and then the nice soft goats cheese. Grill and voila - soooooo tasty

Fried some onion tomato and garlic with olive oil and then whacked in some brindisi chickpeas, wilted spinach on top - yum!

Pea and ham soup, with hot buttered toast.

Chicken noodle soup and a whole meal roll today. Very boring

Another fave is fish finger sandwich - crusty bread topped with mayo, capers, lettuce and of course fish fingers.

A pack of Salt and Vinegar crisps!!!!

Booked a day off work, and have been sorting teen DS room ALL day. I am the QUEEN of flat pack furniture, and there was 'only' about 500 swears from me all day.

Absolutely starving now, got a roast chicken, pots, stuffing, cabbage, carrots, broccoli and yorkies on the go, and probably chocolate chip muffin and custard for puds.

A ham, rocket and cucumber Scotch bread roll, a packet of cheese/onion crisps and a plum. Oh and a Mr Kiplings cherry bakewell for ‘pudding’.

Two mince pies

I normally have a packed lunch every day but today for once I didn't. So I went to the local "artisan" bakery (artisan my arse!) and had one of their pasties and a Viennese finger sandwich (as pic), both of which were supremely disappointing.
