Teacher no mask

Nc for this as may be outing.
Dh went to london yesterday on train and returned about 11pm.
On the return he saw the Head of the pre-order at my son's school with 3 friends - 2 ladies and 2 men altogether- all without masks and drinking from cans of g&t.
This is a £30k a year prep school, not that it should make any difference. But the head gets a lot of shit, because everyone pays they expect so much.
I'm inclined not to say anything, but wondered what would mn do?

I think we need a function to help people to identify the point of a post vs. small details just put in for context/so everyone doesn't ask well where, when, how etc.

Don't wear a mask all you like. A lot of people has reasons they don't wear them. I don't judge. Sounds like you enjoy judging!

MN is a forum with millions of users. Not a hive mind. Personally I couldn't give a shit about masks and think they are a pointless waste of time 🤷

In other words someone socialises in line with current guidelines and busybody starts desperately hoping they'll get validation for their obvious desire to get reporting.

OP Do you sit and watch people in cafes and restaurants too? If they're sat at a table, exactly how long between mouthfuls of food or sips of drink is considered acceptable before your mask marshall stress levels hit 'complain on MN levels'?

Sounds like she was having a nice time. I’m sure train staff would be able to deal with any breaches of their rules, if that’s what happened. Is there anything you could divert your emotional energy to?

@Lipstickpowderpaint I understand where you are coming from MN is getting more and mure overrun with trolls every day. If there was a significant amount of time not having a drink and just talking, let's say before she bought one or whatever then technically according to the rules she should have worn a mask.... HOWEVER she is more likely to catch and spread corona from the school kids not wearing masks in school/lessons. I wouldn't make a fuss unless they have a lot of other issues and this was just another example to add...

You need to remove your child from that school immediately and find one that strictly enforces mask wearing out of school time.

Less than 6 People, drinking on a train, hopefully turned up to work the best day, not sure there’s anything to complain about? 30k a year... now that’s the issue IMO.
