I have tasted the worst drink in Christendom. Can you top this?

Category, as Ru Paul would say, is alcoholic drinks aimed at women.

I bought a bottle of Malibu Strawberry Spritz at Morrison’s last week. I like Malibu (don’t judge me) and strawberries and fizzy things.

I opened it last night. Christ, it was awful. Tasted like a weird blend of kids’ medicine and saturated sugar syrup. Not sure how you can make something like this taste un-fruity. And it was virulent pink.

Down the sink it went, even the plughole seemed to be resisting it by vomiting up the pink foam.

I can’t imagine anything worse but maybe you know differently.

YABU = yes, there are worse alcoholic drinks aimed at the ladies and I’m going to give you details.

YANBU = no, nothing sounds worse than Malibu Strawberry Spritz.

lolasparkle I think I'm in the minority of people who actually like Beverly. I had it last year at Disney Springs and found it refreshing.

Chartreuse! I can’t believe no one else has mentioned it. A bar tender in a whiskey bar in Bath gave me it, was worse than drinking medicine infused with all herbs known to man

So peculiarly i think I have tasted everything everyone has mentioned on here. While everything everyone has suggested is quite disgusting you are ALL WRONG with the exception of @Sidge who mentioned the one thing I came here to say.

Fernet Branca is the liquer of the devil it is simply put the most disgusting thing ever to be created.

Also @NotQuiteUsual I think clarification as to what you mean by pink gin is necessary. Lots of people these days mean a gin which is pink due to being berry flavoured which while not very nice is far less disgusting than the traditional Pink Gin, which is just gin and bitters (such as Aperol or Campari) and is far more grim.

Additionally Absynthe is actually a very very tame spirit these days* since the recipe no longer contains many of the ingredients which made it both gross and fun (cocaine, hallucinogens etc.)

*since about 50 years ago

I once had to drink something for an xray of my oesophagus the nurse said it was orange juice (excited as hadn't drunk for 4days) it tasted like floor cleaner smells. Nurse thought it was hilarious.

That god awful coconut water in the carton. I thought it would be so refreshing,bought a bottle,took one sup and gagged for the next 10 minutes. Disgusting.
