For anyone who would love to get in on the tat selling, but can't be bothered making anything there's someone in my local Facebook group offering us the chance to promote her tat to friends and family and be paid in free tat for every £100 of orders!

Traumatised

aprilshowers2015 · 04/10/2020 09:51

Favourite thread ever.
This popped up on my t/l this morning, not technically Christmas but I wanted to be part of it 🤣🤣

With this I'm wondering if the snow globes are included?🤔

I am thinking of changing the tree decorations to traditional red, green & gold this year...

How about a ‘naughty’ Santa to traumatise the kids this year? Yours for only £10! Can also be made into a ‘Neckless’ Grin

@aprilshowers2015 Oh my giddy aunt, that has got to be the most horrible thing ever! Shame on anyone who buys that

The comments are brilliant, lots of people saying it's horrific and the seller saying it's her best seller and just "banter".

Whammyyammy · 04/10/2020 10:40

@AllTheCakes

Weird candles with sticky outty bits, £6 each
They look like that bloke who plays the organ with his tentacles in 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.

I quite like these ! I'd hang them in some pre-lit twigs
AlexCabot · 04/10/2020 11:39

There's a woman locally who has set herself up as a cake maker.

She's charging £6 for a lemon drizzle loaf and £16!!!! for a cheesecake.

Not even a super fancy cheesecake, a fairly bog standard one that you could probably buy in Tesco for a fiver.

Oh and she's not got insurance or had a H&S inspection.

Iola4 · 04/10/2020 12:10

I found my possessed angel...my favourite bit is the rusty staples that hold the wings on. My parents bought it in 1972.

That Grinch Reborn doll 😱 I'm terrified of Reborns anyway but that truly is hideous.
Christmas dolls local to me on offer are these grandparents...(well it says they are!) Yours for £45 quid the pair...for those who wonder what Reborn dolls look like when they got retirement age.

That is awesome! In a bad way of course, but seriously out there 😂

Thelnebriati · 04/10/2020 12:15

Is it me, or is this years crop more awful than normal?

Iola4 · 04/10/2020 12:26

I'm sorry this is a pitiful offering of hampers compared to the tampons and mouthwash ones.

People selling like this may have lost their job and just be trying to make ends meet

Most of the ones on ours sell 'seasonal' stuff all year round, every year.

Iola4 · 04/10/2020 13:15

This is the wonder of Facebook Marketplace...it's a Christmas lightening centre piece.

FredaFox · 04/10/2020 13:55

I remember the eBay centrepiece, I think it was the same year this eBay treat appeared, business opportunity not to be missed 😂 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/173029043504

FredaFox · 04/10/2020 13:56

I’m waiting for the awful glasses and alcohol bottles covered in glitter to appear

Needtodecide1 · 04/10/2020 13:57
