Do you make an effort? What do you wear?

I would feel silly wearing a full on work dress on Zoom (sad that they have hung in my wardrobe for 6 months!) but I do like to make sure I’m wearing a nice top, jumper, jewellery etc. and always have a bit of make up on (not as much as I used to in the office!)

Looking for some ideas of other outfits that are both comfy but will look nice on video!

I know some people might not care but I’m in a senior corporate role and used to pride myself on always being well groomed, fresh and put together in the office - I can feel myself slipping into just lazy clothes as we go into winter! I find just putting perfume on makes such a different to how I feel!

legwarmers is a brilliant idea - I am definitely going to shop for some now.

I've got a lot of video calls but not today - Wednesdays are generally a day off from meetings and video calls, so just a plain black t-shirt and leggings today. Well, leggings/harem pants every day really, but nice tops for the other days.

I always do my make up, I really enjoy doing that. I didn't for the first few weeks and found I missed it. Something about the ritual of it seems to help me get in the right zone. Usually a necklace of some kind too, and I'll do my hair (though that takes about 30 seconds as it's very short and I usually just kind of clip it into a quiff).

My big revelation has been soft bralette-type things. I always assumed I couldn't wear them as I've got big boobs but I bought one as an experiment and it's soooo comfortable and looks absolutely fine so have bought more. I love them so much.

I wear a variation of black yoga pants, black vest top/t shirt and a long cardigan. As it gets colder I might put a jumper on. I usually wear a bit of lip gloss (I don't know why as no one can see me). I like having something of a routine and having a very loose difference between day stuff and relaxing in my pyjamas

I wear leggings and soft warm slipper socks or boots, with a decent top if a video meeting is happening, and just bog standard tunic/lagenlook top if it isn't.
To save on heat, I have fingerless gloves and I bought some long black hooded fleecy dressing gowns from a theatre company, which I rotate, and can just slip off at meetings.
I do always put on a bit of mascara, so I don't look like a currant bun.
