Trending Now - WTAF

Anyone actually looked at these posts and wondered why? My post didn't reach the 'tending now' despite getting hundreds of responses.
Maybe I should go to sleep now and forget all this but can't help feel cheated into thinking this was a nice supportive place.
I guess being autistic is a factor.

Individual clicks not refreshing a thread.

I thought this too. I look and and read far more threads than I actually comment on

I've noticed that trending threads often have very few posts. I don't even see them unless I'm on my laptop, do they show up on the app?

Without that context your points aren't as clear in this thread alone. I think what you raise in your other thread is a really important issue and well done for raising it.

OP there many many people using mumsnet who want advice or even just a chat.. not everyone's post trends...

I've only just realised that 'trending' is different to 'active'. I use the app, and it only shows 'active'; 'trending' isn't even an option

An OP who posts almost entirely in AIBU complaining that Mumsnet isn't 'friendly' might want to explore the rest of the boards.

Every time this complaint comes up it's by posters who stick to AIBU. Jeez.

If the algorism works on clicks, rather than comments, then it means that the chosen posts have an intriguing title, but are disappointingly not worth commenting on.
I think the op is saying that her disappointment in mumsnet is due to her autism, and I think she is right, she is expecting too much from a forum which is open to all, especially AIBU, if she is needing support.
