What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a WWE Diva.

I wanted to be a midwife, but when I was about 17 I started suffering with anxiety (still a big problem now I'm 30) and I just knew the course wouldn't be suited to me, nor the role, until I got my anxiety under control .. which so far I've failed at. So now I write the content for websites, which is interesting, but not as satisfying. I wanted to do something to really HELP people.

An archaeologist, because I thought Phil Harding was the coolest man alive. Strange kid.

Prior to that, I quite fancied becoming a shepherd.

A nurse and a mummy.
And now I am both.

A social worker...and I am

A barmaid, I’m a LA Dept manager- random!

An entertainer and dh a musician.
I knew from being 3 years old and strangely enough our dd is the same.
Doing everything we can to try to get her to find a plan B, but she refuses as did dh and I.
Only problem is we got 30+ years out of it, I'm not confident she will.

I wanted to do Judith Chalmers job

A teacher, ended up a tax manager 👎

A barrister. Rumpole was my hero.

I didn't know then.....and now I'm 55 and still don't know!

A witch. Some would say I am!

An astronaut. Didn't end up good enough at maths to really consider it.

Formula 1 driver..,,,,or a geography teacher. I think you can all guess which dream came true.... sad times 😂

A farmer! Don't know where I got that notion from.

I love it! The course is...challenging..., as you can imagine but it makes me so happy. You're starting very late? Liverpool? I know they havent started yet.

A policeman.
This was in the early/mid 60s and I'd only ever seen male police officers. My heart was broken at the age of 8 when I realised I'd never grow up to be a man, so my dream was impossible.

I wanted to be an author or a lawyer. I’m a marketing manager for a law firm so I guess I’ve sort of merged the two!

A hotel receptionist. We only ever went to hotels for super special occasions, and they seemed so unbelievably glamorous. I also wanted to drive a green Ford mondeo!

I love this 💕 this is actually how I got my first job waitressing... was on a cruise ship having dinner and it all seemed very glamorous and fun and busy... gave my cv to various London restaurants and yeah the reality didn't feel the way it looked on the outside 😂😅

Or work in the post office because I liked the stampers they used. They were so speedy and it made a good noise. Plus I thought I would always get to lick the stamp.
