AIBU to ask how often you eat "rubbish"...

As in how often you'd have a big cream cake, or ice cream, or oooh I dunno, a big box of chocolates, 3 doughnuts and a trifle.

Basically I pretty much obsess about food 😂 Right now I'd really LOVE a big slice of cake, or some apple crumble and custard. Sweet rather than savoury.

I say "rubbish" just because it's full of calories rather than full of my 5-a-day. I try to eat reasonably well and don't always give in to cravings. Just wondered if I was being overly harsh on myself and should in fact pop out and get ALL of the above 😋

So AIBU to wonder how many people do just eat what they fancy when they fancy it (I don't cos I worry about getting fat, I'm really short so extra weight shows quickly).

I have a sweet tooth, so I have something sweet everyday. Today I had 2 mini packs of oreo, tomorrow it'll probably be a pack of wine gums, following day probably scones with clotted cream and jam.

I do an hour gym session everyday so probably why I'm not overweight.

Honestly if I could I would binge daily! I love losing control and eating lots of high calorie, high sugar foods!

Most days I have a Milkybar or small chocolate bar for dessert but I know my diet has gone to pot if I eat chocolate/cake/crisps earlier in the day.

If you love apple crumble then try chopping up a few apples with a little bit of sugar and eating it with custard without the crumble topping or try blackberries and apples cooked the same way.

Another thing to do is to have the doughnut or small cream cake but eat it really slowly- scoffing down three doughnuts quickly doesn't feel a lot different to eating one slowly!

** Sorry missed the 'chopping up a few apples and putting them in a saucepan on a medium heat!'

Trying to change my eating habits
Generally a freddo and a bag of something like snack a jacks every day

Once a week, one meal "off" so a McDonald's or some chips or pizza
