I would say currently it's Geoff from Corrie.

Lorelai Gilmore - quite liked her to start with, but she basically denied her daughter and parents a relationship with each other over basically nothing. Her parents were a bit suffocating at times maybe, but they didn't throw her out / disown her etc when she got pregnant. She ran away in the middle of the night with her baby and told everyone how 'awful' they were. Wanting to forge her own way in life is one thing, but she was selfish, mean and uncaring to parents who had supported her.

The actor who played him in the BBC adaptation absolutely smashed it.

See I’ve always think he was miscast. Mr Collins isn’t supposed to be physically repulsive but just stupid.

I think the actor who played him in the BBC version did a good job with the mannerisms, but he's always cast as someone middle aged and he's supposed to be young. The whole point of his character is that he's a young man (25) who acts like a pompous 50 year old. He's supposed to be younger than Darcy (28), who always gets cast as around the right age.

Bella Swan - too dependent on men. Should have got an education, career, and personality - and chosen Jake!
Bridget Jones, probably because of the stoopid accent by Ms RZ.
Sky from Mama Mia - winey and controlling.

Negan in the Walking Dead. I had to stop watching.

Oh yes, definitely. Utterly tiresome in his predictablness. Same violence and vengeance over and over

yawn

Also Mickey Mouse (the annoy dick head) but for different reasons than Negan.

Susan in Desperate Housewives - the ‘klutz’ thing was way overplayed and that storyline when she stripped online while doing housework was weird.

Cleo who is Roy Graces’ girlfriend in Peter James ‘Dead...’ series of books. Bland, boring, perfect, no flaws, no personality and we were reminded every sodding book. I stopped reading them in the end.

Richie Tozier, from IT
Not so bad in the movies, but in the book, dear God he drove me up the wall and back.

Louisa from Doc Martin pissed me right off in the first few seasons. She knew Martin was socially different but constantly tried make him confirm. She improved vastly in the last series.

Anastasia whatsherface in Fifty Shades of Grey - agree
Bridget Jones
Bella Swan reminds me of the 50 shades girl
Most of the characters in soaps - hence I never watch them
Although I don't watch any reality TV type 'stars'

Oops - I suppose reality tv characters are real - or is it an act for the cameras.

The Karsashians and Jenners count as fictional characters don't they? My God I would rather run a cheese grater over my eyes than watch those low forms of humanity.

Wasn't 50 shades originally Twilight fan fiction? That's probably why the characters are similar.

Andie McDowells character in four weddings was horrendously annoying I agree. But so were her characters in green card and groundhog day

The Robin in the Chalet School. No character could ever be one tenth as annoying as her.

Yes!

All the women in the Barchester Chronicals, for goodness sake. You both love each other. Just get married!

lay off Gwendoline Mary you re labouring the point now. We get it. She s fat.

Oh lord no. Gwendoline is top of my list of annoying characters. She is mean and spiteful and needs taking down several pegs.

Recently watched Parks and recreation. I had to whizz past any scene with Jean-Ralphio Saperstein or his sister.
