I would say currently it's Geoff from Corrie.

DI Malone in Emmerdale. I'm so glad they've killed him off now.

I'm also sick of how useless/corrupt the police are in that soap in general. After all, there was that copper who raped Charity.

And yes, Geoff Metcalfe, he so creeps me out that I can't watch him at all.

lljkk I like Leonard too. I was going to mention Howard as a dislikable character but thought he’s not interesting enough to be that awful.

I also really like Young Sheldon but I think Sheldon in it is actually a much more rounded character than the adult he drew into!

I read recently - perhaps on here - that James Bond was deliberately given a totally non descript bland name which made total sense.

A mixture between the character being awful and it not being a very heroic name for a “hero” of a film has always put me off the name James, which might have been totally fine otherwise.

Until James Potter came along of course.

Sasuke Uchiha can fuck right off tbh, he's the reason why a lot of Naruto was so unbearable. He's not my most hated character though, that would be Gaara's dad.

I'm struggling to think of a Chalet School character who isn't annoying . They're all self-righteous Joey-worshipping pains-in-the-arse, or become so by the end of the book in which they are introduced.

I suppose there's that replacement teacher they regret hiring who sends The Robin into hysterics and makes her ill - anyone who doesn't pander to The Robin gets a non-annoying pass from me!

But other than that, all of them.
