Most of these may have been said but:

Rory from the Gilmore girls - I loved her when I was a teenager but now I look back she’s just a sanctimonious little brat.

Elena from Vampire Diaries - just so annoying. Didn’t deserve Damon (I’ll have him!)

Daddy Pig - stupid, lazy bastard. Just watched the episode where he loses his glasses and the fucking idiot doesn’t even get off his arse to look for them

Lucifer from Lucifer - I don’t know, looks wise he’s fit but the character and everything about him cringes me out and I just find him annoying. His brother is much more attractive

Any Jack Black character in any film or tv show.

Also unpopular but the main character from flea bag. I couldn’t watch before of her stupid camera faces.

Agree about Mallory towers. As a child i read it and thought it was brilliant. As an adult, I look back on the whole bunch of them bullying poor gwendoline (although we were encouraged to hate her) and think what a bunch of absolute shits.

Lady mary Crawley. She is entitled and spits her dummy out when she doesn't get her own way. The way she tried to manipulate Carson and Mrs Hughes over their wedding venue.

Cora is "nice" but a bit simper-y for my liking

A whole lot of people in the Archers, mostly the Archers themselves and most supremely, one of the most unspeakable fictional monsters ever to have sprung from the deluded mindset of a BBC radio 4 scriptwriting team, Pip who is the number one reason why I stopped listening to the fucking Archers.

I also can’t stand Peter in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, come to think of annoying Peters.

Some I disagree with:

Emma Woodhouse - because she is exactly as Jane Austen intended her to be! She calls her “a character no one will like but myself”, although actually I do like her.

Mrs Bennett - Mr Bennett is much worse!

Also:

I agree I really like the book Wuthering Heights even though I despise Cathy.

There’s a modern book called Brother of the More Famous Jack, which is a great book (nothing to do with WH!) but I can’t stand the heroin, also named Catherine (or maybe Katherine) as it happens.

Sandra Bullock character in Speed. She hyperventilated so much in that film I found it difficult to breathe myself!

Used to really hate Helen Daniels in neighbours, if anyone remembers her. The writers seemed to think she should be well liked.

God yes to Topsy and Tim’s parents. Although they’re better parents than my ex husband by a country mile!
