Could I just say please stop with the biscuits!!!
I have to eat glutenfree, but my family doesn't so at the moment there is a wonderfully nice, warm austrian apple pie sitting in the kitchen and I am dying a slow painful death of not being able to eat any.
And they won't let me eat the apple part out either!

Me too. I went to a kiddies birthday party yesterday and they cut this amazing triple layer cake in front of me. Then asked me would I like a slice. I had to reply 'no thank you' whilst salivating.

Groggy I know I'm not supposed to use a tumble dryer being on MN 😢 which is why I daren't ask my really boring tumble dryer question in case I get flamed 😳
I'm considering using an anonymous MN name so that the shame of it doesn't link to me

BobbinThreadbare123 · 06/09/2020 14:19

I am also a thread killer. I have started precisely one thread ever, on S&B, and got told in no uncertain terms that it wasn't welcome and just to tack onto another similar thread. I've also been posting on two recent threads where someone has repeated what I put, almost word for word, and other posters responded to that instead of my earlier one. Meh.

liverbird10 · 06/09/2020 14:31

Yo fam. How are you doing today?

Ghostlyglow · 06/09/2020 14:45

Just try bumping the thread a couple of times (only a couple though or it would be a bit weird) it just takes a couple of people to see it and you might get a few more replies. Smile

I don't think the tumble drier police are on this thread. Ask away and perhaps we can make it the secret tumbler thread

My boring tumble dryer question is...
Current condenser dryer has various programs. If it's been on automatic for example but I think it needs a bit longer, I can put it on a 15 minutes warm air.
The vital point is that I can open the dryer at any point and feel the clothes so I don't over dry them (I'm not an ironing fan)
Can you open the door whenever you like on all condenser tumble dryers or do some not let you and have a time lock like on washers? This would drive me insane

HermioneGranger20 · 06/09/2020 17:44

Have a nice day OP. Did not want to read and run x

Supermum12345 · 06/09/2020 18:09

OP it seems to happen to me whenever I comment on a post - nobody else responds and the thread dies. If I click the "I'm on" tab a load of threads I've responded to have no more comments after my name. Just call me the Thread Destroyer.

FrankskinnerscRoc · 06/09/2020 18:28

You know I often find the most boring of threads go on forever. You’re probably just too interesting for this lot. Admittedly I’ve killed a few in my time.

Just to answer your question - I have a condenser drier. I can open the door anytime, despite what programme it is on. Just to add to the excitement, it's a Beko make Grin
Batshittery · 06/09/2020 18:30

Sorry Supermum I meant to say hi to you Smile

BobbinThreadbare123 · 06/09/2020 18:33

I can also open the door on my Hotpoint dryer at any point in its cycle.
I have also got to do some pedantic shit here:
Dryer - machine that does drying
Drier - thing is less wet

liverbird10 · 06/09/2020 18:35

@Supermum12345 I'm bored, to be honest! What mischievous antics have you been up to today then?

WithIcePlease · 06/09/2020 18:44

Lovely thank you
I'm so glad I found this thread Smile

When I had a condensing one I could open it mid cycle. I have a vented one now. I don't want to put a spanner in the works if you are choosing to buy a new one, but I much prefer the vented one.

I made toad in the hole with green bean mash. The beans were past their best as that's why they got whacked in. The fam don't know this. What they don't know eh..... Smile

Supermum12345 · 06/09/2020 19:13

@JalapenoDave well I can officially say you've had replies on this thread so you are no longer the thread killer my friend haha.

@Batshittery heyyyyy. How are you?

@liverbird10 not been up to anything exciting been busy with DD. Had sausage and chips, did some housework an now laying down having some me time! Nothing mischievous on this end. How about you?
