Simply that...

AIBU to eat it everyday?

Wond3rment · 02/09/2020 22:49

Until June of this year I ate 2 bars of chocolate everyday for about 15 years.

Now I have a small box of Lindor Truffle Balls a month.

I am delighted to say I am falling out of love (cracking the addiction) with chocolate. It’s been hard work, by November I think I’ll have nailed it.

sunsalutations · 02/09/2020 22:51

One square, sometimes two, of mint Lindt a day after dinner. Think I'm a bit weird Grin

Potterpotterpotter · 02/09/2020 22:58

I eat it everyday... I’m a size 8-10 🤷🏼‍♀️

thefourgp · 02/09/2020 23:00

I eat it everyday...I’m a size 16-18 🤷🏻‍♀️

GiveMeAllTheGin8 · 02/09/2020 23:01

Everyday obviously Confused

bellajay · 02/09/2020 23:01

I hardly ever eat it... I’m a size 22 🤷🏼‍♀️

jellybeanz1212 · 02/09/2020 23:14

Everyday til a few weeks back when the thought of it makes me puke. Will last a few months then I'll get the taste for it again. I dislike most chocolate but I'll eat Cadbury's Daim or Cadbury's Crunchies

PickAChew · 02/09/2020 23:15

About once a month and it has to be really worth the risk of waking up and emptying my guts at 3am.

Thurmanmurman · 02/09/2020 23:18

Maybe once or twice a month. I don't have a sweet tooth. Crisps, on the other hand, most days!

multivac · 02/09/2020 23:20

Barely ever. Not keen.

Cheese, however... daily.

ILovesPeanuts · 02/09/2020 23:22

I did every day. However from late 40s I became borderline type 2 pre-diabetic. Back under control but it's left me in a situation where even a small amount of sugar sends me off on a binge now. I believe it's because my body can no longer cope with sugar spikes/crashes without going on an eating frenzy. I'm gutted. I think I've been unlucky as it doesn't happen to everyone but I struggle to control my weight now as a result.
If I could roll the clock back and eat less sugar and avoid all this now I would.

LooseleafTea · 02/09/2020 23:22

Maybe once a week . I sometimes feel like it mid morning but never want much

ILovesPeanuts · 02/09/2020 23:24

P.s. just to add - I wasn't overweight while having my chocolate every day but I'm about a stone overweight now. Not massive but I put on weight now just by looking at sugar Confused

mrbob · 02/09/2020 23:24

I used to eat a LOT of chocolate. Now milk chocolate holds no appeal and I am clearly elderly as I like a couple of squares of Lindt of an evening. I probably get through 100g every couple of weeks. I have gone from a size 16 to a size.... 16 🤷‍♀️

Sairafina · 02/09/2020 23:25

Every day! More so now I'm pregnant

mrbob · 02/09/2020 23:25

And it is definitely addictive in some form. Once you are off it then it is actually pretty easy to stay off

TAKESNOSHITSHIRLEY · 02/09/2020 23:26

constantly

im all day and night(kids dont sleep so im up 24/7)

i go through loads of packs of giant buttons,3 -4 packs of wispas, chocolate aeros but mostly buttons

i am a diagnosed chocoholic(yes by a proper doctor)

years ago when i was a teenager my mother took me as if i didnt get any chocolate i would have withdrawal symptoms

he said it is a valid condition

i dont drink tea, coffee or alcohol, milk and chocolate is my thing

BayLeaves · 02/09/2020 23:26

I can easily eat a 100-200g bar every evening but I start putting weight on if I do. Occasionally I get back into that bad habit but at the moment I'm having one 10g square of 80% dark chocolate after lunch and one after dinner. That's still one 100g bar every few days. Because it's dark it's too rich to binge it but I find it gives me the chocolate and sugar hit that satisfies the craving. It may take practice though if you're not usually keen on dark.

jelly79 · 02/09/2020 23:27

Everyday. It is my vice

ladybird69 · 02/09/2020 23:29

I was a chocoholic when I was still having periods I’d kill for a bar of chocolate. I’d find myself at the shop buying chocolate then realise I was due on. NoW I no longer have periods I eat it maybe once or twice a year!

SummerPoppies · 02/09/2020 23:31

There isn't many brands of chocolate that i actually like. That said, i tend to go in fit's and start's with it.
I've always got my favourite chocolate in the house, but it might be there for months untouched and then i might binge on a large bar, then it gets forgotten about for months again.
I've just looked on a bar that's been in my fridge forever. It's best before date is June 2018.
Boiled mints however...........

hilariousnamehere · 02/09/2020 23:34

Daily, but I'm three weeks away from launching a new chocolate brand at the world so am telling myself it's essential testing...

Actually the reason I now co-own a choc company is because I can't get enough of the stuff. Yanbu and you're in great company! 😂

Jaxhog · 02/09/2020 23:34

Not often enough!

madcatladyforever · 02/09/2020 23:36

I dont like chocolate or sweets and I'm afraid of wrecking my expensive dentistry so I never eat it. It's so sickly.

hastingsmua1 · 02/09/2020 23:36

Whenever I like. Most likely once a week if that as I’m not a massive chocolate fan but I would have it every day if I wanted to. I just prefer other snacks.
