Simply that...

AIBU to eat it everyday?

I always have to have chocolate in the house; there's not been a time in the last 30 years when I've not been in the possession of at least one bar! But that said, I don't eat it that often - maybe one bar every month, or three weeks or so, ( and not all in one go).....But I do acknowledge that this maybe makes me somewhat suspect and possibly rather peculiar. Nevertheless, whatever people think of me, although I don't eat it that often, I absolutely have to have it in the house at all times, just in case....

Clearthinking · 02/09/2020 23:43

Once a week! Not my thing. Husband, once an hour! Loves it

HashtagSoup · 02/09/2020 23:45

Once or twice a week? If DH nips to the shop round the corner for milk he sometimes brings back a large bar of Cadbury’s Caramel which we devour with cups of tea. Sometimes we have a things like Kit Kats or Clubs but not often. DC have things like chocolate buttons as a treat.

ShopTattsyrup · 02/09/2020 23:52

Couple of times a week usually, in terms of a kitkat or a dairy milk etc. I like chocolate but find it a bit sickly, so if someone bought me a box of chocolates for a present etc. I would spread them out over a couple of weeks without much thought.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 02/09/2020 23:56

I’m not fussed about chocolate, but do like a slice of cake, or crisps. I think as I’ve got older - mid 40s - I have kind of lost the taste for it.

Justcallmebebes · 02/09/2020 23:58

Very, very rarely

DolphinsAndNemesis · 03/09/2020 00:01

Every two or three weeks, maybe? I like chocolate, but I try to avoid sweet things of any kind during the week. At weekends I usually have some sort of dessert/sweet treat. That might be chocolate, or it might be something else (ice cream or cake or whatever I happen to fancy).

NamedyChangedy · 03/09/2020 00:03

Huge amounts at Christmas, then none for the rest of the year.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 03/09/2020 00:04

Every day! I like Lindt milk but it's my only vice and BMI 19

Iamthewombat · 03/09/2020 00:08

I’d scarf it down every day in my dream life. Breakfast pudding after my boiled eggs (dime bar), then snacking on Lindor and Bounties all day. I don’t do this, but I easily could.

Tavannach · 03/09/2020 00:09

Most days - two squares of Lindt dark chocolate in the evening. Very occasionally I'll have a little binge and eat more.

TakemedowntoPotatoCity · 03/09/2020 00:43

Every day yes Blush

ViciousJackdaw · 03/09/2020 01:17

Four days a week. Just a Flake or a Wispa from a multipack - whichever is going for £1. I have a Solo lolly (Iceland's version of Solero - half the price and honestly just as good!) on the other three days.

Apples6544 · 03/09/2020 03:12

Hourly!

SenorPeabodyEsq · 03/09/2020 03:36

I eat it very rarely but if I could get away with it, probably every day.

I'm a binger so I can't be trusted to have just a couple of squares.

PinkyBrain · 03/09/2020 03:38

Every day but just a bit. Size 6 but an exercise demon.

ulanbatorismynextstop · 03/09/2020 03:45

A sharing bag once a day. I wish I hated chocolate!

4amWitchingHour · 03/09/2020 03:55

Pretty much every day - chocolate was massively restricted at home when I was a kid so once I had free reign with the vending machines at secondary school the daily habit started. If I have too much I do put on weight, so will stop every now and again, but always go back to it.

eaglejulesk · 03/09/2020 04:01

I've lost 10 kgs over the past year or so - still eat chocolate many times a week!

80sMum · 03/09/2020 04:08

My chocolate consumption is hugely variable. I can suddenly get a craving for it and will buy several bars, then eat a bar a day for up to a week. Then, just as suddenly, I will go off it and won't want it anymore. I can go for several weeks (sometimes months) without it.

honeygirlz · 03/09/2020 04:12

Trying to lose weight so tend not to buy it. Sometimes I’m tempted when there’s an offer like a huge bar of Galaxy for £1, but the problem is I can’t just eat a couple of squares, I eat the whole thing, so it’s easier to just now buy it.

honeygirlz · 03/09/2020 04:12

*not buy it

user1471481356 · 03/09/2020 04:50

Once every 2-3 weeks. Usually 2-3 squares.

BookWormBitch · 03/09/2020 04:59

Every day! I wasn’t allowed chocolate for medical reasons until last year, now I’m making the most of it and my consultant is fully behind me Grin

blubberball · 03/09/2020 05:03

Every day in some form or other. I've made switches over the years to chocolaty yogurts or sugar free chocolate to get my fix. Switched to low sugar chocolate spread, which goes quite nicely in smoothies. Sometimes I cave and get the real thing.
