things that need to be invented

aibu to think that the following things need to be invented urgently?

  • a dishwasher safe toaster
  • a self cleaning oven that actually cleans itself and not just says it does
  • maintenance free bicycles.

I'd like someone to invent an extra indicator on vehicles - maybe an arrow at the front, so that cars can signal when they are going straight ahead at a mini-roundabout.

Self-cleaning toilets would also be a godsend!

maybe some sort of suction system so damp dusting and hoovering are a thing of the past.

Machine to spray-on suntan lotion

Spray to highlight/balayage your hair

Virtual gym classes - sure we are not far, but there must something better than zoom or bad graphics

Cover -umbrella & side type - that comes up and fold automatically over your laundry when it rains

Screen that comes up to stop the noise from anti-social neighbours and/or their smoke

Device that produces clothing with universal sizes
So if you need a 12 3/4 average height, you can buy a 12 3/4 average lenght from any shop in the country...

I fantasise about: A self cleaning house. A bed that remakes itself (or at least a duvet that recovers itself).
I also want one of those contraptions that's on Star Trek where you just say what drink or food you want and boom it appears.
A pill that you can take so you don't gain any weight. And another that cures diseases!

I always wanted one of those machines you see in movies with a mad professor. Some sort of contraption that lifts you out of bed, brushes your teeth, washes and dresses you, then deposits you at the table in front of a freshly made coffee and cooked breakfast.

I want to invent a lazy susan turntable thing to rotate cakes in the oven so my fan oven doesn’t blow the tops of cakes to the sides, and can also cook round pizzas without burning the back end of them.

A wrist mounted scanner so that allergic people can scan their food and find out if it contains their particular allergen.

As a side-invention to this, but not as important, a scanner for calories would also be helpful.
