@Anthilda

A functional mask that responds to people engaging with you, behind which you can go to sleep Grin
on this note
  • a face covering that does a 'talking lip' thing so that hearing impaired can lip read.

A bed changing machine. More specifically duvet covers!

TimeIhadaNameChange · 30/08/2020 16:59

@VelvetRibbon

TVs/gaming consoles that are connected to treadmills or exercise bikes, and that only activate above a certain speed.
There was a programs a few years ago where a family moved into a 'green' house. What they didn't realise was that it was being powered by a group of people on exercise bike. Think there may have been 100 in total. It was astonishing his many they needed at certain points of the day.

A sucky device that fits to your cervix and sucks out your period in a couple of minutes

Eeeugh. But yes I agree.

I would like something that automatically drenches someone's bonfire when they start one.

LucyLocketsBlackCat · 30/08/2020 17:09

Someone beat me to tablet sunscreen- hate feeling sticky and putting it on repeatedly.

Online gym classes- try Les Mill on demand.

Teleporter transport. Pop to New Zealand for the weekend, Canada for a day etc.

Iwantafuckingbreak · 30/08/2020 17:14

A robot that cleans everything and sorts out all my washing.

HoratiotheHorsefly · 30/08/2020 17:14

Eco friendly disposable bed linen and a gadget to put the duvet in the cover. I detest changing beds, washing the bastard bedding and then having to fold and store super king size bedding.

TroysMammy · 30/08/2020 17:15

Microchips in people holding their medication info. Go to the GP, put your arm or another body part into a reader, medication added. Go to hospital and they amend your medication. Go to the GP and your medication is amended and updated therefore creating a paperless system. For those who have never had to amend medication especially badly written information you're lucky.

LakieLady · 30/08/2020 17:15

A pill that makes you burn up loads of calories while you sleep.

QuestionableMouse · 30/08/2020 17:18

You can apparently bake bread in a slow cooker. Never tried it though.
PrincessForADay · 30/08/2020 17:28

@Thebreadsouth

I always wanted one of those machines you see in movies with a mad professor. Some sort of contraption that lifts you out of bed, brushes your teeth, washes and dresses you, then deposits you at the table in front of a freshly made coffee and cooked breakfast.
This has been my dream for as long as I can remember!
Fifthtimelucky · 30/08/2020 17:30

Weed killer that you can spray all over the garden but it just kills the weeds, not the plants you want (and obviously isn't toxic for animals either).

Akire · 30/08/2020 17:37

Dishwasher-safe bbq

Machine to spray-on suntan lotion

Spray to highlight/balayage your hair

Virtual gym classes - sure we are not far, but there must something better than zoom or bad graphics

Cover -umbrella & side type - that comes up and fold automatically over your laundry when it rains

Screen that comes up to stop the noise from anti-social neighbours and/or their smoke

Device that produces clothing with universal sizes
So if you need a 12 3/4 average height, you can buy a 12 3/4 average lenght from any shop in the country...

Did anyone ever read Valley of the Dolls when she went to the weight loss clinic and was just drugged for a week and when she came to she had lost what she wanted?

Sleep for a week AND lose weight. Living the dream!!! I wonder if it was ever a real thing.
