No but I've dug out my favourite blanket!

catgirl1976 · 29/08/2020 20:32

Had it on this morning as it was cold. Also the tumble dryer has broken and I’m not comfortable having a repair man round due to Covid so I need to dry some laundry

TwoZeroTwoZero · 29/08/2020 20:32

Nah. Just put a jumper on and you'll be grand.

Whatisthisfuckery · 29/08/2020 20:38

Nah, actually fuck it, I’ve put it on for an hour.

SchrodingersImmigrant · 29/08/2020 20:38

Cowards😁

OneForMeToo · 29/08/2020 20:38

Ours comes on automatically once the temp drops below 19c it hasn’t yet so it’s not on.

silentpool · 29/08/2020 20:39

Me!

FippertyGibbett · 29/08/2020 20:39

🤚🏼

Pebbles16 · 29/08/2020 20:39

I've put socks and a fleece on. "Luckily" the menopause means the fleece is off and on and off....

MustDust · 29/08/2020 20:40

Fire is lit here, got a massive hoody on and I'm still bloody cold!

RedRiverShore · 29/08/2020 20:41

Yes and my electric blanket

whirlwindwallaby · 29/08/2020 20:49

No, it's 17°/7° here today and warmer inside. I'm in jeans and jumper and barefoot. My bedroom windows are open and I haven't even thought about changing the summer 4.5 tog quilt for the winter 7 tog one yet.

notapizzaeater · 29/08/2020 20:50

It's like bloody winter here

EbbandTheWanderingHearts · 29/08/2020 20:51

No! I'm roasting! Windows are wide open and I've got a vest top on. If I put the heating on, I'd melt! Grin

Littlefiendsusan · 29/08/2020 20:52

Not central heating but have lit the wood burner for cheer.

Justmuddlingalong · 29/08/2020 20:52

A 7 tog winter quilt? Mine's is a 15 tog, is a 7 really warm enough for you @whirlwindwallaby?

whirlwindwallaby · 29/08/2020 20:53

Just checked, it's 17° at the thermostat control, so the heating wouldn't click on if it was turned on anyway. Colder in the bedroom but I like a cold room to sleep.

Nottobesoldseparately · 29/08/2020 20:54

I've got it on,

BUT, I'm in a caravan in the wet, windy and fooking cold Yorkshire Dales 😂

If I was at home I'd be tempted to light our stove, but all the 'fire stuff' is packed away and will be until next month!!

Thomasina79 · 29/08/2020 20:55

My late dad would have said “if you are cold then put a woolly on” which drove us nuts as children, but which I agree with now. It’s August - put a woolly on!

whirlwindwallaby · 29/08/2020 20:56

Never felt cold with the 7 tog. I overheat if I stay at friend's houses with warmer quilts or if they leave heating on overnight.
IsFuzzyBeagMise · 29/08/2020 20:59

Me. It's a chilly 13 degrees here.

Daphnise · 29/08/2020 21:01

Those needed heating on in August may need to consider moving about a bit more.

Asuitablecat · 29/08/2020 21:03

I've closed all but out but one window. And I.have socks on.

Mumtumwobble · 29/08/2020 21:04

We’ve had ours on a couple of times.

FrankieFrankFrank · 29/08/2020 21:04

I tried to put it on and the boiler broke Sad
