AIBU to fantasise about it? 😂 honestly, what would you do with that money? I wouldn’t want to live a lavish lifestyle, I’d buy a farm house with shit loads of land for my dog. That’s all I want. Then I’d give up work and concentrate on charity work, writing and dog training. I’d be just pleased not to have to work in nursing anymore.

Yes to Friday's one.
You never know!

IdblowJonSnow · 26/08/2020 10:11

I'd buy a 6 or 7 bed roomed house and a small bolt hole somewhere on the coast.
I'd set up some charities regarding issues that I feel passionate about and would donate to other local charities.
Most of my friends are financially secure but there are a couple who would benefit from some lavish treats.
Too much money to comprehend really and actually it does seem to fuck many people's lives up so not sure I'd want it!
The house part is a nice day dream though!

@The80sweregreat

No , didn't win anything. The house with the pool will have to wait. 😀
To be fair I have a house with a pool and I can reassure you I am no millionaire!!

Will spend it wisely..

Eastie77 · 27/08/2020 22:16

£2.30 winner here! Treated myself to some Lindt chocolate. Living large and loving life.

NoProblem123 · 27/08/2020 22:32

I’d live on a yacht somewhere fancy.
I wouldn’t go anywhere in it because
A) I don’t like choppy water
B) I don’t like sharks
C) The crew might bump me off into shark infested choppy water

I’d basically be living in fear Confused

Sorka · 27/08/2020 22:44

I’d buy a beautiful country estate with so much land I wouldn’t hear a single neighbour. I think I would try and keep working only part-time but could see me giving that up quite quickly (I’m off this week so feeling positive: ask me this when I’m having a bad day at work and I’d say resign immediately).

Buy my mum a house she likes and give her a regular income so she can retire (if I gave her a lump sum she would worry too much about saving it).

Many extravagant holidays.

I've loved this thread. DP and I spent about 20 minutes quite seriously considering properties last night. I'm thinking North Yorkshire DP wants to move a bit further North. Either way, much more sensible prices than your London houses!

I'd want something full of character, an en suite, a small book-lined snug and a tower. I'd try having a gardener and a housekeeper for a few hours a day, but not sure how I'd feel about that. I imagine I could get used to it Grin

Snog · 29/08/2020 11:26

Aaargh once again I am a big loser!

HashtagMakingMemories · 29/08/2020 12:16

Snog · 29/08/2020 12:32

@NoProblem123 I get it, the anxious life!
