Media blackout on marches happening today

Is it me or is it not very strange that 1000s of people currently marching though our major cities today and no media coverage?

They are marching for our children's rights, to awareness to trafficking etc

Does the lack of coverage just play into the hands of those that accuse the media of being part of the problem.

They are currently peacefully marching to bring awareness because there sadly is hardly any awareness of trafficking, most people have the completely strep typical idea of what trafficking is, that is all some world wide elite club.
But the sad truth it looks very different, and is probably happening in a home near you right now.

So why no coverage. My SM is flooded with 1000s I f people walking the streets of Liverpool, London etc.

I don't want to believe there is darkness in control of our media and what we see etc but honestly I can't think for the life of me why this isn't being covered.

I saw a post about this movement a few days ago shared on social media from someone affiliated - maybe the leader, I've never heard of it before tbh.

It said that they weren't just working against the trafficking of children but also from the "Mother's" who don't feed them and the "Mother's" who let them go dirty and without decent clothing and worst of all from the "Mother's" who LET men rape them...

I put it down to a Fathers4Justice type thing that thinks that all a child's issues are down to one single person, which is of course, the woman and not at all a man's fault. Not even the men who actually seek out and rape said children 🤔

There are a lot of small demos all the time tbh.

I am a foster after. I have cared for many children trafficked into slave labour. It’s complete rubbish to say it’s rare. It’s thousands. But what makes you think such children can ever be classed as above or below 8? No records, no birth certificate, no name in many cases. They are issued an ‘official’ date of birth by the home office, so the home office decides to only issue dates that would make the children over 8. Then they use their own figures as proof that the uk has no slaves under 8. Again this thread is showing appalling ignorance. But anyway. even one or two would be too many.

It's not. In the UK around 25% of those trafficked are UK nationals and the majority are not white British. Don't disagree if you can't back up your statements with facts.

I have a relative and some friends who have gone so deep down this rabbit hole that it has completely changed their personality and I worry so much for their mental health. It's broken up relationships and families.

I agree OP. There seems to be an unprecedented increase in the level of censorship by the media. The media is not reporting marches and demonstrations which do not fit into the agenda of certain people in power.

Certain types of protests are well covered e.g. transgender issues while others such as this and concerns over the lockdown are entirely ignored.

Journalists are generally champions of free speech, however unsavoury the opinion being spouted, despite what you read about us on Facebook.

However, when that free speech is based on provable untruths and puts children at real risk of catching deadly illnesses, I won’t give it a platform. Some publications do, mine doesn’t.
