To think our Prime Minister is not on a camping trip

Just wondering how many actually believe that?

YABU = He is on a camping trip

YANBU = He is not on a camping trip

I believe the official Comms only ever said "part of his holiday camping". This is just a bit of typical spin to paint him as a "man of the people. A night in a luxury yurt somewhere between two posh estate stays most likely.

This is part of a developing tradition for PMs to have a UK holiday with their family. It is all show and the holiday they have only really has the fact that it is in the UK in common with normal people's staycations.

Well, I'm hoping he isn't stupid enough to be sunning it up on an oligarchs yacht again.

If he is camping he will be on a luxury glamping holiday and the site will be closed to people who aren’t members of his party, if for no other reason than for security.

I would bet my left tit he is not on a camping trip. With a 4 month old baby? They really don't seem like the type!

I doubt he is camping - maybe glamping at a push. But having a small baby isn't a hinderance - we've been taking the DC camping since they were tiny. I think the first trip with our eldest was when he was 8 weeks old :)

He won't be shooting birds, good old Carrie is into animal rights, isn't she, she wouldn't let him.

On a slight side note surely even if he is abroad its unlikely carrie and the baby are because they postponed registering new births for a while and without the birth certificate would they have even been able to get the baby a passport?

Come on, he’s the PM. Of course Wilfred’s been registered and got a passport. We all know the restrictions don’t apply to politicians.

It's not that some people don't take babies camping. It's that Boris doesn't appear the type. I like camping but I can't imagine anything worse than going camping with a baby.

I doubt he is doing any different from previous Prime Ministers of all parties. Some of us still remember Tony Blair and his attempts to have a homespun holiday in the UK. Five star hotel in Cornwall anyone? He stayed there one night and then fucked off to Italy as per usual.

Also I found the rumours about him and Carrie splitting up interesting and very believable. Also seems to be a lot of talk about whether baby really was premature and whether the PM has another new squeeze....

That's what I think. If there was any real camping happening there would 100 percent be photos. I actually find it quite insulting that they expect us, the plebs to swallow the story. But then after Barnard Castle...

All politicians like their nice trips away. Apart from Jeremy Corbyn who never seemed to go anywhere ( not that I recall anyway)

My parents used to stay there. Mum would have been tickled pink.

I am no fan of Johnson or his policies but he is entitled to take a holiday with whoever constitutes his family this year. I don’t give a fuck where he goes, as one assumes they have telephones and internet connections everywhere.
