To think our Prime Minister is not on a camping trip

Just wondering how many actually believe that?

YABU = He is on a camping trip

YANBU = He is not on a camping trip

It says in that article they've been on a 3 day camping trip and that it coincided with the A levels being released. So that was a week ago last Thursday Confused
It says they had a 6 strong security team so where were they staying - in their cars?

Carrie does look very young in the pics.

I have no doubt that he's likely to resign in the next year since it's clear he has several strings to his bow. What form those strings may take is something only the tabloid press are likely to speculate on of course.

Probably. Because it would be totally the norm to rent a cottage, and then set up a tent in a neighbouring field on a cliff edge in high winds and then take a tiny baby and all sleep in the tent for a few days.

Probably. Because it would be totally the norm to rent a cottage, and then set up a tent in a neighbouring field on a cliff edge in high winds and then take a tiny baby and all sleep in the tent for a few days.

... Camping in a tent with a small baby is what a totally skint young couple do if they can't afford any other holiday

They'd have had more fun taking it in turns to whip each other with birch twigs in the No 10 hall

They are not ‘hiking’ they are out for a bit of a walk.

I can’t bear BJ, politically or what I know of his character. I think his record since becoming PM has been exactly what I would have expected: terrible.

But whoever he is I think the press hounding people when they are in holiday : paternity leave is a shocking intrusion of privacy. And whatever Carrie S’s taste in men she deserves to be able to spend time away with her baby and it’s father without the Mail and Sun pursuing her every move.

She is a mother with a young baby.

Why is her head leaning the wrong way? Surely if her right leg is slightly lower then her shoulder on that side would be too, not higher.

The trouble for Boris now is that because he has lied so often, no one is prepared to believe that he is capable of telling the truth. You have to admit that a camping holiday seems about the last thing he would be likely to want - unless it was glamping, which this didn't appear to be.

Perhaps if Johnson and Cummings didn’t have such a track record of lying and manipulating (including spreading “misleading” photos) then maybe there wouldn’t be any speculation? Just a thought.

I doubt that Boris is anywhere at all, we're seeing him so little. It was a henchman in a Boris wig who kept saying "it could have gone either way".

And if he does actually still exist, I agree that he'll either resign at a quiet moment, or his own party will oust him: they'll want to make sure he's well and truly a distant memory before any election.
