Twicenice--well, if you buy low quality things, they probably won't last. I hope you've become a better educated shopper since then.

I lived in the USA for three years in the mid 1970 era. I bought some lovely USA made cotton sheets and pillowcases, They were white, and had a pale yellow embroidered edging on them. And believe it or not, I still use them. And to make things better, my late Mum visited us in the USA a couple of times, and she bought some of the very same sheets and pillowcases, she brought them back home to the UK in 1977, and like she always did, she put them away for best, and never used them. She died 15 years ago, and I found her stash of USA sheets etc, all stored away in the wrapping paper in a cupboard. So now I have another set to keep me going.

One other thing that I bought in a fancy shop in the USA, was a serving tray, it was white, with a lovely bird design on it. I got home to our house over there, and only then noticed on the back of the tray, that it said made in England on it ha ha, so a well traveled tray, that I still use.

I do now actively try my hardest not to buy anything made in the USA. Nor will I travel there again until they sort out their human rights abuses

😂😂😂 human rights abuses? Nobody’s perfect but this is OTT. I’m guessing you have few possessions by these standards ....

Our house, my husband, our dog, all of the food. I haven’t checked all the furniture avd fittings. My husband is very patriotic so I imagine many of our household objects were made here. The dishwasher has a big “made in the USA” label on it.

All my Shure gear, and my Ableton Push.
