To ask how old you were when you first snogged someone

I’m talking propper snogging with tongues.

Was asked today by my 12yo dd and honestly couldn’t remember! Think it was somewhere around 14 but clearly wasn’t too memorable!

Around 14 I think

19 - nearly 20. Happily married now And in hindsight glad I didn’t have any messing around with boys to distract me during school - I only ever had crushes and was very focused academically even though I was a late bloomer And wishing it would happen at the time. Another plus is I’ve only ever had good experiences with men due to having been with so few kissing or otherwise.

15, then lost my virginity about 2 months later. Still 15 😂

Late starter, but it was lovely and I remember it with great affection, more so than losing my virginity.

The summer before Y9 with my mum's friend's son as we wanted to practise with someone we didn't actually fancy ...

About 13 I think.

14. It was awful – with an 'older man' (he was 16) and it was full washing machine. I remember staggering backwards away from him and having to wipe my face... eugh.

I think 17, started late!

Oh I remember it well! It was the day before starting Secondary School, I was nearly 12. I didn't do it again till the end of year 8.

21. Lack of opportunity mostly being the reason.

I was 13 at a school disco ( it was the ‘80’s)🤣

DD (15) has had a couple of boyfriends so I know she’s snogged. Her first kiss was at 13, nearly 14, at a Starbuck’s. They arranged to meet there, chatted for a while and then he kissed her goodbye.

I picked her up and she told me all about it on the way home...said his breath smelt and it was rubbish. Poor boy!

14. I’ve recently found out that he’s now the drummer in Elbow so that’s a claim to fame.

13. His name was Simon and we were waiting for his train. It was actually quite romantic and good, for being so young.

I've had some horrors since. One guy used his teeth. Another guy had an excessive amount of saliva, so it ended up dribbling.

I must admit, being such a late bloomer with my first good snog at 29, I lost my virginity at 29 too. A good five months later though, no spur of the moment decisions here

11! It was very innocent though. I didn’t do anything at all beyond snogging until I was 17 and met my first serious boyfriend.

17/18. Crap first boyfriend but not the worst kisser tbf. Alas that was XH....

It was actually surprisingly good...

18 and he's still my partner 13 years later.
