I once drank my contact lens solution.
Id put my lenses in at my desk before going out to lunch, came back all hot and bothered after a brisk walk back and downed the last of the water in the little plastic cup on my desk.
Except it wasnt water my face was a picture apparently....

My eldest did this when she was about 2. I was putting my lenses in sitting on the sofa and had the little container balancing on my knee.

While I was mid insertion she came toddling up to me, picked the pot up and necked it! I was beside myself and straight on the phone to 111 but they said not to worry she would be fine! I only put my lenses in in the bathroom from then on though.
