I once drank my contact lens solution. Id put my lenses in at my desk before going out to lunch, came back all hot and bothered after a brisk walk back and downed the last of the water in the little plastic cup on my desk. Except it wasnt water my face was a picture apparently....

My eldest did this when she was about 2. I was putting my lenses in sitting on the sofa and had the little container balancing on my knee.

While I was mid insertion she came toddling up to me, picked the pot up and necked it! I was beside myself and straight on the phone to 111 but they said not to worry she would be fine! I only put my lenses in in the bathroom from then on though.

Does this mean you’ve been gaily gadding about hurling salt all over the carpets?

Oh dear your poor DD ha yes its perfectly safe though, its basically saline so although tastes nasty wont do harm!

IKR?! Ornaments on window sill. Salt in kitchen cupboard & cleaning products in cupboard under sink or both are just everywhere over kitchen counters cause the place is a tip rn in my case
