We didn't notice the taste because we had quite a bit of red wine.

My DH once used Fairy liquid instead of olive oil. He is extremely absent-minded (which may go without saying). He noticed immediately when he tasted the dish. No one else tried it, fortunately. But we have never let him forget it.

If I ever put salt in food, I would only put a pinch so would think if he's only put a pinch in you'll be ok... if you are worried I agree with Emelene, ring 111 for advice, no need to go straight to the hospital unless you are feeling ill.

Im sorry this has tickled me a little. I can actually see how that would be done, the Asda table salt has a more similar bottle shape to the shake & vac and perhaps it was low lighting.. plus wine..!
