Popped this on chat as well then realised I’d prob get more responses here.

 • I’m considering online only ie NOT catalogue version selling to people I know.
 • Any catches with Avon? Eg once you want to leave the company, is it easy enough? Thanks! Hopefully hear from some folks who have been online reps/ have worked for Avon.
**@big4mlm* I know you were just answering a question from @borisjohnsonsstylist* and you’re right I am passionate about MLM because I’ve seen it ruin lives, helped people bullied by the companies and distributors, seen marriage break ups, serious debt. I am part of an anti MLM group and we are contacted daily by people who have been damaged by MLM and Body Shop features regularly. There’s a whole load of behaviour from these companies that I won’t disclose here but I can categorically say that it is not far fetched to talk about ruined lives.
I'm genuinely intrigued, how does this happen? Serious debt etc. Everything I've seen so far is run it how you want. If you don't put orders through , your account gets deactivated. I certainly won't be buying products and keeping stock at home in the hope it will sell. I asked this specific question and was told they don't advise stocking up too

@Pumperthepumper and I said I wasn't in it for the money Grin I'm not pushing anyone to buy. Not my style to pressure people

That’s good you’re not in it for the money because you won’t make any. You’ll lose an awful lot, though.

So why are you doing it? To get friends and family to waste their own money?

And yes, you are pushing people to buy with your “deals” and daily posts.

I saw that - of course you’re not, there’s a million reasons you’d want to support a massive conglomerate with daily posts and orders other than the money.

@ChrissyPlummer same here, was in my Mum's name but I was the rep. I'm sure the lady that came to do the sign up was aware of it as well.

Very hardwork for a 15 year old in a pretty big village with no car, definitely didn't earn much from it and like you say would often not get the books back Sad

'Only people who want to see the daily posts are seeing them.'
This just isn't true. I've had two friends start up with BSAH in the last few weeks and been added to their groups. Even before I accepted the invitations, I could see every bloody post because I had been 'invited' to the group. I did accept eventually partly out of morbid curiosity but now get tagged constantly in the posts. I will leave but it's a bit hard to have to explain why when it's a sister in law/school mum/good friend's 'small business because it seems really rude to just leave. It's definitely not only people who want to see them!
