As per title I have the worst kind of hair, thick and frizzy which need daily straightening only to frizz and kink out all over the place despite using numerous products which claim to stop this happening.

I can't even put my hair up as it becomes limp and bits fall out the hair band.

I've tried long hair, short hair, layers etc and yet I still have shit hair!

I actually feel like shaving it off!

Anyone have any miracles to help?

I've got hair that is completely straight - not an iota of curl - that naturally sits flat to my head like a swim hat. It's horrible and requires at least 30 mins of blow drying every morning to make it look vaguely presentable, never mind stylish, and it has to be washed very frequently because it get squished flat to my head in bed. If there is any humidity in the air it all drops flat again within 5 minutes. The only consolation is that now I'm through menopause it has gone a bit straw like and springy so there is more of an impression of thickness even though it's thinner in reality. Better to look like a scarecrow than a Playmobil figure.

Mine is the same. Novamax keratin straightening stuff. My mate does it for me, I haven’t touched my straightener in 3 months.

I have shit hair too. Mine is fine, incredibly wavy and frizzy though. If I don't do anything with it then it looks ridiculous. Over lockdown, I only straightened it twice (just pulled it into a top knot) in the hopes that the ends would improve. Seems the shitty ends aren't down to straighteners!

A good hairstylist can do intricate styles with it, but it takes a lot of spray and grips. If I do any sort of updo, even a ponytail, it falls out within the hour.

@1984isnow

I have the opposite. Flat, shapeless hair that is too sleek to hold any sort of styling for longer than an hour. It slides out of bobbles if I try to put it up. I have tried everything (except a perm, but I am on the brink), and the most I can get is a subtle wave/kink at the ends which isn't worth the effort.
This is my hair, to get it stay in a bobble I have to do this:

Put it in a half up half down ponytail, then put the left over lower hair in a bobble. Take bobble out of the top pony and put the rest of the hair over the lower pony and put a bobble around everything.

Does that make sense? I tried to find some pics explaining it better than I can.
