To think it's disgusting to stick your tongue out in photos

I probably am being unreasonable.

But I think it's revolting when you see photos of people with their tongues sticking out.

Why do people do this?

I don't think it's disgusting, just childish, tedious and obviously ruins photos.

It is fucking rank. Also a complete tell of chavvy losers when trawling dating sites.

Much like calling someone a 'chavvy loser' is a definite tell as well.

It’s standard practice here. Always in fun, never directed at someone. If you don’t like it, don’t do it.

It tells me all I need to know about the person on the end of the tongue, mainly that I don't want to know them

Childish and annoying perhaps but I certainly wouldn't list it next to anuses and penises in things I'd rather not see on a photo.

It's definately NOT cute once someone is passed about the age of 7.

But saying that, I have a photo of two very dear friends, taken when we were 18 and drunk, mooning their arses at the camera outside a Wetherspoons!

Would we do that now? NO.

Did we think we were the funniest things ever then? YES.

I was taught as a kid it was really rude to stick your tongue out, like an insult.

I hate it too and people that tend to ' gurn' in photos or pull silly faces!
It's just a pet hate of mine although it's not hurting anyone! It looks disrespectful (which I know is a bit OTT! )

Mooning arses - drunk or not isn't and will never be cute, not even on a 5year old.

Getting drunk to the point of mooning arses is on a whole other level of not cute - 18 or 30.

Hardly comparable to sticking a bit of tongue out.

Exactly the same as this! I hate that my front teeth overlap and sticking the tip of my tongue out in silly photos hides it! Obviously I don't do it when the picture is intended to be a 'nice' one.

Yes it is. Makes me feel sick when I see it. It's ill manners to do it publicly anyway, why do we need so many permanent records of people doing it?

Oh i hate that. I've got a friend who seems to think no photo is complete without it. Looks ridiculous

It doesn't really bother me, I think it can ruin a lovely picture if everyone else is smiling but I don't really have strong feelings.
