Mine today is that my wee robot vacuum cleaner was hiding under a chest of drawers - took me ages to find it. Ruined my whole morning Grin

sst1234 you basically wrote what I was going to write!

SeaToSki didn't know you could do that on Duolingo - that's so annoying!

Having replaced my swimming pool heater, the electric pool cover has now broken. In peak swimming season too when we're at home most days. It would feel churlish to complain though...

Courier left my Chanel delivery in damp and manky outdoor cupboard under stairs, despite a large notice saying NOT TO, which means a toad might have touched it. Now my £80 facial oil feels all toady.

I've just been forced to share the last of the smoked salmon with DS.
I had successfully hidden it at the back of the top shelf in the fridge (he's too small to reach back there), but he caught me making my sandwich and so I had to eke it out between both of us instead of stuffing it all in mine.

honeyytoast · 20/07/2020 14:06

I can’t decide where to go to university 😭

Callmedolly · 20/07/2020 14:06

DP works for a wine & spirits company. I had to tell him to please stop bringing champagne home during the week as we are saving for a house deposit. Even if 'but it's such a good price on staff!"

(Not that I don't enjoy champagne for no reason in the middle of the week! )

Mildmanneredmum · 20/07/2020 14:13

I have some organic flour on my tweed jacket and can't get it off

Shayisgreat · 20/07/2020 14:14

I didn't put suncream on carefully enough today and I have a slight burn on my neck after being in the sun for 30 minutes. I'm very pale.

BlingLoving · 20/07/2020 14:15

Our 4g reception is hinky at best and it annoys me when I'm out the house standing in a queue and can't use the internet properly.

pennysea · 20/07/2020 14:15

I need to get my Vuitton bag repaired and don't know when I'll get the time or even want to head into the city.

1forAll74 · 20/07/2020 14:16

I only have a few small envelopes, and I need a much larger one. none of my neighbours have one, the local village shop does not sell them, and my car is off the road at the moment. I am going to try and make an envelope with some brown paper that I found.

Plainandsimple · 20/07/2020 14:18

I didn’t have any lettuce for my prawn & avocado salad for lunch. And my candle subscription box arrived on Saturday with two types of wax melts in it but I only have one warmer - now I have to choose which scent to try first..

Spam88 · 20/07/2020 14:20

Not mine, but my favourite from a colleague a little while ago - his new coat was so insulating that he couldn't feel his heated seats in his car.

WhatKatyDidNxt · 20/07/2020 14:21

Trying to decide what offer to put in on a house. We can afford it but it needs work and obviously the least we pay for it, the more we can spend on doing it up

WhatKatyDidNxt · 20/07/2020 14:21

@Spam88 that is a harsh one! Grin

I’m having a breast reduction on Friday at a private clinic, and I’m annoyed I’ll need to stop my joe wicks 90 day programme halfway through to let myself recover. I’ve lost about a stone and don’t want to waste it!

BlingLoving · 20/07/2020 14:25

@BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum aaah, but you'll be losing so many inches as a result of the surgery that it won't matter if the other weight loss slows down as a result!

[Quick tip - they don't seem to be so keen on those steri strip things here in the UK. But when I had my surgery, I was given a big box of them and told to cover all the wounds with them for weeks after the original dressings came off. Scarring is minimal. I think you can buy them here but they're expensive, but hopefully private clinic would be into that anyway!]

SilverOtter · 20/07/2020 14:26

We are trying to decide between keeping our son at his current lovely independent school, or sending him to the outstanding state primary a ten minute walk from home that he's been offered a place at.

I was tying myself in knots over it until my husband pointed out how much of a first world problem it is😆!

stayathomer · 20/07/2020 14:29

spam88 love it!!!

Saddlesore · 20/07/2020 14:30

I used decaff coffee in my espresso machine this morning instead of my usual caffeinated. I wondered why I felt so sluggish during my Zoom calls

oohyoudevilyou · 20/07/2020 14:36

The own-brand squash I use has a new bottle shape, so now doesn't fit in my fridge door properly. I will have to swap to Robinsons or lay my mayo bottle on it's side in the main fridge compartment to get around this issue. Very vexatious.

sugarbum · 20/07/2020 14:38

Well not today, but on Saturday I went to a restaurant for the first time in forever with friends. My pea and truffle oil veloute was more like mushy peas, and they forgot my sauteed asparagus!
