To ask where you keep/do your makeup?

Just that really. Bedroom, bathroom, dressing room?

I was moving stuff around today and remembered someone from school calling me/my family odd for keeping makeup in the bathroom (at the time it was the room with the best light I think).

I wouldn't keep make up in the bathroom personally (a) due to lack of space (I have a lot of male up (b) due to moisture and (c) hygiene. Aerosols and spray from the toilet etc.

I have a dressing room bit before that I kept make up in my bedroom in drawers with a day-to-day make up bag.

In a large, built in bathroom cupboard - more room than in the bedroom and much better light.

I have a dressing room, so do it in there on my dressing table which is by the window for natural light.

Dressing table drawers, and a small kit of essentials in my handbag, e.g. concealer, mascara, lipbalm.

@AliceinBunnyland our bathroom didn’t have a loo in it!

Now I have a spare room which is my “dressing room” I suppose l - small room with vanity unit hair stuff etc.

Bedroom on the dressing table. I've never kept make up in the bathroom because I don't want moisture to ruin it

I have some small plastic drawers which sit on top of the chest of drawers in my bedroom. (Hoping I’ve written chest of drawers correctly ).

Day to day make up I keep in the bathroom. My 'occasion' make up is in the dressing table.

I keep mine in the bedroom. It used to be on the dressing table, but I've had to start hiding it because DD7 keeps "borrowing" it and making herself look like a psycho clown practising her make up.

In my dressing table drawers in cleanable plastic baskets. I have an led magnifying mirror on the table for good light when I'm doing my makeup in the winter and it's pitch black outside. This time of year I just open the curtains for good light.

In a fancy vanity case down the side of my sofa... I get up very early so have my cuppa and do my face in the ‘big light’ downstairs, not disturbing anyone else

In a dog poo bag (it was a temporary measure when we moved three years ago!) in my bedside table.

I'm blind as a bat without my glasses so find it easier to lean over the sink and do it right in front of the mirror - can never get so close with a dressing table mirror. I'm messy too - usually end up with face powder all over the sink that would be on the floor if I did it in the bedroom. And the bathroom has the best light.

In my make up bag which sits in a basket on the bedroom floor. Mostly do my makeup in the bedroom, however I will sometimes sit at kitchen table depending on the light.

My day to day stuff is in a make up bag on the chest of drawers in my bedroom. I usually shove it in my handbag if going to work. More fancy stuff for going out is in a little transparent set of drawers again on top of chest of drawers. Would love a dressing table at some point!

In a drawer in my dressing table in bedroom. At our old teeny tiny house it was in the bottom of the wardrobe and I had a big mirror on the inside of the door. I used to sit crossed legged with the doors open to do my makeup. When we got a bigger house, husband asked me what my first ‘wish’ was and straight away it was to have a dressing table! We did our bedroom first and low and behold I got my first dressing table at the age of 27! It felt so luxurious the first time I used it! 😂

Mine is in the fitted cupboard in the bathroom. One shelf for make up, one for cleansers, moisturisers etc. I do my make up in the bathroom because it has the best light and a lovely big mirror. It’s not the “family” bathroom though, it’s mine and DHs en suite. If we only had one bathroom I probably wouldn’t keep it in there.
