So, I am well aware that there is a huge difference between intelligence and mangling words / phrases / spellings however....

Today I spoke to a woman about ds (who also has Autism)
I said 'he is very literal'. Yes, she said: I have noticed he is very lit-a-rit. 'Really?' I said (as he's not, very) Yes, yes, she said very lit-a-rit indeed. She is his Senco...

My ticket to the US Capitol was in fact for the Capital. It was printed by the visitor desk in the Capitol. The Capitol may be in the capital, but they are two different things.

I saw ‘on mass’ twice yesterday (once on here).

Not misspelling but misreading, my Dstepdad, who knows little of popular culture, was in charge of reading the answers to a ‘guess the intro’ game. ‘Kool and the Gong’ and ‘The Dave Clark S’ were two of the popular beat combos named. (To be fair the print was very small)

BanjoStarz · 15/07/2020 21:38

ThickFast · 15/07/2020 21:53

Lol at ‘lightheaded’ OP! Was that deliberate?

I’ve had ballballs for baubles. Old primary school teacher did that. And text styles instead of textiles.

CoffeeBeansGalore · 15/07/2020 21:58

Theatrical psychics instead of theoretical physics.

Snooker diving instead of scuba diving. It was a lady in her late 50's who's spent her whole life thinking it was snooker. 😁
