Lightheaded and not judgey as I often spell things wrong!

Someone posted on a recipe group on Facebook asking for ideas of what to make with some beef mince. One of the replies was ‘spaghetti ballanayse’Grin

Anyone else seen any great ones!?

When my eldest was around 4 years old, I wrote my shopping list out and she added ' choona ' to it for tuna.
I've still got that list 33 years on and still laugh at the ' choona ' 😂

Probably not uncommon but I have seen '3 piece suits' for sale rather than '3 piece suites'.

As a science teacher, I often get 'comical flasks' instead of 'conical flasks'. Had a 'chronicle flask' once too! Also, when looking at books in my department, I noticed a boy had written 'main entrance' instead of 'maintenance' Grin I always think it's quite cute when kids miss spell things.

BlusteryLake · 15/07/2020 19:30

Once on a local selling page I saw "a pair of Hunter willies, great condition" 😂

TimeWastingButFun · 15/07/2020 19:31

Have you seen the YouTube clip of people misspelling 'pregnant?' Hilarious!!!

BlusteryLake · 15/07/2020 19:32

Just remembered another one. A colleague who emailed to say she had just eaten a "car of chocolate". No wonder she looked a bit overwhelmed!

iklboo · 15/07/2020 19:39

DH is dyslexic which can be challenging so he asks me to spellcheck for him. On a job application he put:

'I work well on my own or as part of a grope' (yes he's happy for me to share - he thought it was funny too).

amusedtodeath1 · 15/07/2020 19:42

There's a garage not far from me who offer "puncher repairs". Grin

Mangofandangoo · 15/07/2020 19:43

@Floofboopsnootandbork

Not the great or unusual but about 5 years ago we saw a fb post from 2011 where DP had spelt example as egg sample so now anytime we say anything being with ex with change it to egg, eggcellent, eggciting, eggsample, eggsactly
@Floofboopsnootandbork So funny 😂

I once saw an advert in a newspaper for a clothes shop. It listed some of the brand names they stocked - one was 'Versarchay'. I had to keep looking at it, I couldn't believe it was real.

Someone asked on FB when people thought the ‘pandamic’ would be over, which made me think we were being savages by a black and white creature called Michael
