Lightheaded and not judgey as I often spell things wrong!

Someone posted on a recipe group on Facebook asking for ideas of what to make with some beef mince. One of the replies was ‘spaghetti ballanayse’Grin

Anyone else seen any great ones!?

Saw a business card with a job title
"Accunt Manager"
Always wondered if he was.

Aidaso mutha fuka.....

A girl in my form had this written on her bag when I was in year 7.... it only dawned on me a few years ago she meant ‘adios mother f@*ker’ still cracks me up!

piefacedClique · 17/07/2020 20:29

@HogDogKetchup

Rest bite

Not uncommon but discusting really makes me smile.

Rest bite makes perfect sense though as you to respite for a rest.

Lack toast in toddler ants

tabbycat985 · 17/07/2020 20:46

I might be on my own but in my part of the world, a hair tie is a bobble & a bauble is a Christmas ornament😂

My favourite ever misspelling/misunderstanding that I've come across (in a book all about the ones kids make called A Pis of Cak) is "The lady who stopped people being mean to black people was called Rachel Ikwality". 🤣

BikeRunSki · 18/07/2020 08:19

In the very early days of word processing and when we still had typing pools, a report came back to me with “a poxy infection” instead of “epoxy injection”. Glad I proof read it before it went out!

LadyGAgain · 18/07/2020 08:27

Skellington (skeleton)

Learnthelesson · 18/07/2020 08:36

And the best one, local lady advertising her wedding stationery business on Facebook with a card (clearly printed off her own printer in a common scrolled word font) saying ‘you are invited to the wedding of.....on SATARDAY 4th July

I’d like to think they’d proof read these things before providing a service like that!

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 18/07/2020 08:50

‘Through’ for ‘threw’, but I suspect know-it-all autocorrect there.,,

I often used to see ‘rest bite’ on a forum for carers of people with dementia. It did make sense - the poor things were desperate for a ‘bite’ of rest.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 18/07/2020 08:53

I wish I could remember the one I saw on a leaflet from our local university - advertising an MA in English Lit!!

Valkadin · 18/07/2020 08:56

A cafe was opened it offered bungers and mush as an option amongst many other typos. English was not their first language. It was a very reasonably priced friendly place, we used to go quite often before lockdown.

mamansnet · 18/07/2020 09:08

Anerversary. By a graduate who was being paid to teach English to non-native teenagers.

KingOfDogShite · 18/07/2020 09:10

A job was sent over to me at work stating that “the customers fents has blown down”.

inappropriateraspberry · 18/07/2020 09:36

@Lansonmaid

Birth instead of berth when describing caravans for sale - a 6 birth caravan makes the mind boggle
