I just accidentally created a group on Messenger with my two ex-boyfriends,panicked and left the group

I HATE Facebook! I haven't actively used Facebook for years,but have the Messenger App as I sometimes get the odd message...

Anyway,for some reason,I decided to open the Messenger App and clicked on a conversation from my ex. We haven't spoken for about two years. Then,somehow I managed to accidentally send a thumbs up! I then panicked and then somehow changed the conversation colour?!!! Which came up as 'blanche has changed the conversation colour' and I was then like 'ABORT! ABORT! ABORT!' and then....god knows how....I managed to create a group with him and my other ex!

Oh the shame. I immediately left the group,but now,as I've left it...i seemingly can't get back in to delete it? So they're know in this sad little group together? Wondering why on earth I've suddenly randomly created this group and then left it!

I sent a really heartfelt message to my DH ex ( not friends but we do communicate) about her ex and father of her other child after he had died. Spent ages trying to find the right words. Sent it, then sent a massive thumbs up afterwards.

Oh this is the funniest thing I’ve read today. I needed cheering up.

You could send each a cryptic follow up message such as "You know what this means..." - and then block again and leave them to it :)

I once had a phone belonging to an ex, gave it to me when still together. We parted magically.

Used it to join OLD. Uploaded photos of ne, you know the ones under the portrait category. Except I also added a photo of his ex wife and my mother. I thought I had clicked a series of just me but it was the whole series of portraits. Including some close ups of a spot I had wanted a close up if.

I couldn't delete them until my profile was activated and approved which took a day.

Localised OLD site too.

I have never recovered.

If it makes you feel better, same as someone upthread, I also accidentally made my ex's name my status when I decided to stalk him.
I've also friend requested a different ex's new GF when I was stalking him. I am seeing a pattern here!
If it makes you feel better, I am very much over both these mistakes now and hadn't thought about it until you reminded me!

I don't realise anything was amiss until DH phoned me from work asking who these people were.

The giant thumbs up nearly broke me 😂😂😂 Tell them you have a child and you don’t know which ones the father. They’ll be out of the group in a heartbeat.

I swear to god... all I have to read is 'I sent a massive thumbs up' and I just die laughing. It's the icing on the cake of shame.

My superpower seems to be messaging the entirely wrong person - with text and sometimes pics. I accidentally WhatsApped my landlord a nice selfie last month, couldn't even delete it sharpish because I didn't realise it had gone to him until he messaged back saying he liked my hair down rather than in a bun 😂

Which felt oddly inappropriate 😱

Oh I've done worse.. stalked my ex on Facebook (drunk) only I didn't use the search bar. I used my status update. Woke up to see 'Bob Smith' in big letters on my timeline. Someone had actually liked it. This is one of many reasons I no longer drink alcohol.
