I just accidentally created a group on Messenger with my two ex-boyfriends,panicked and left the group

I HATE Facebook! I haven't actively used Facebook for years,but have the Messenger App as I sometimes get the odd message...

Anyway,for some reason,I decided to open the Messenger App and clicked on a conversation from my ex. We haven't spoken for about two years. Then,somehow I managed to accidentally send a thumbs up! I then panicked and then somehow changed the conversation colour?!!! Which came up as 'blanche has changed the conversation colour' and I was then like 'ABORT! ABORT! ABORT!' and then....god knows how....I managed to create a group with him and my other ex!

Oh the shame. I immediately left the group,but now,as I've left it...i seemingly can't get back in to delete it? So they're know in this sad little group together? Wondering why on earth I've suddenly randomly created this group and then left it!

I hardly use messenger, but managed, when an overseas friend messaged to say a family member had passed away I somehow sent the giant thumbs up. Mortified doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Do you have children? Blame the children. I got a FaceTime from an ex a few months ago that ended within seconds of it starting. I strongly suspect it was his young daughter 😂

Oh OP! Messenger is designed solely to humiliate, I swear. It just waits to catch you out. That bastard thumbs up catches me out frequently & I'm also bad for sending the wrong messenger emojis to suit the message-'scowly instead of smiley and vice versa.

One of my friends was repeatedly in the firing line for accidental video calls & the like. The worst was when my phone unlocked somehow in the bottom of my bag and I ended up sending him ooodles of clock emojis, diamonds, hearts, spades & club emojis and robot emojis. By the time I realised, I had a load of missed calls & messages from him saying "please make the clocks stop!"

Also somehow my boobs ordered an uber last weekend when I accidentally rolled on a dropped phone. Mercifully we realised immediately & managed to cancel in time!

I NC for this as it’s really outing.

I managed to somehow send an email to my ex husbands newly-ex partner (they’d had an affair, we’d divorced, they stayed together for 7 years after but then they split up).

All it said was “LOL”.

I genuinely don’t know how it got sent, I think I boob-wrote it lying on the sofa with my phone next to me, and her name begins with the first letter of the alphabet.

I didn’t even know I’d send it until she sent me a really rude email 🤣😂🤣

Oh I've done worse.. stalked my ex on Facebook (drunk) only I didn't use the search bar. I used my status update. Woke up to see 'Bob Smith' in big letters on my timeline. Someone had actually liked it. This is one of many reasons I no longer drink alcohol.
