I just accidentally created a group on Messenger with my two ex-boyfriends,panicked and left the group

I HATE Facebook! I haven't actively used Facebook for years,but have the Messenger App as I sometimes get the odd message...

Anyway,for some reason,I decided to open the Messenger App and clicked on a conversation from my ex. We haven't spoken for about two years. Then,somehow I managed to accidentally send a thumbs up! I then panicked and then somehow changed the conversation colour?!!! Which came up as 'blanche has changed the conversation colour' and I was then like 'ABORT! ABORT! ABORT!' and then....god knows how....I managed to create a group with him and my other ex!

Oh the shame. I immediately left the group,but now,as I've left it...i seemingly can't get back in to delete it? So they're know in this sad little group together? Wondering why on earth I've suddenly randomly created this group and then left it!

I received this in response:

“Not quite sure how to respond...is this code for something? Have I missed a signal...erm, maybe?”

I’d sent it to a much younger male co-worker 🤦‍♀️😳

I am a member of a classical riding group on FB. Unfortunately, I once tried to “like” someone’s post (it was probably something quite serious about the use of the inside rein in shoulder in or something) but I accidentally posted a giant cartoon spider with the caption “CREEP it real!!” I apologised and they were so nice about it I almost felt worse than if they’d just said “bugger off you idiot”

I was once Facebook stalking an ex friend. My phone froze and while jabbing the screen I liked a profile pic from several years previously. I felt sick when I realised. It was weeks before I dared reactivate my account

No - I've not heard from any of them...

Possibly because I deleted the app and made sure I was logged out of Facebook on my browser and turned off email notifications.

@damehannah my SIL did the same. Sent a nasty text about me and my sister to my partner (her brother) instead of her husband (same name) 😂😂. She's so far up her own arse it's not true 😂.

Op I did something very similar once in that a group of guys I used to work with years ago and were friends (2 of which I slept with) but that I don't really talk to anymore posted a group picture of themselves at a stag do and I somehow managed to tag myself on their photo 😨
I was almost sick with horror when I realised and I couldn't untag myself I think because I wasn't friends with the actual person who'd posted it.

Back in the dark ages when Listserv email groups were the equivalent of today's social media, I was signed up to an American one called Flute which was very conservative in its moderation (you weren't allowed to say 'damn' if I remember correctly). I was working for HMV at the time, the HMV Classics range was being expanded and there'd been a mix-up at EMI which meant several hundred copies of Derek & Clive had got labelled, printed and packaged as Orff's Carmina Burana, so we had some very outraged customers coming back saying they'd put the disc in expecting the opening bars of 'O Fortuna' and instead got Dudley Moore saying 'Ello, cunt'.

Anyway, I was trying to email a fellow flautist about this because I knew he'd find it extremely funny, and accidentally sent it to a couple of thousand extremely conservative American flute players. I grovelled and promptly unscribed!

@VeryLittleOwl that mix up is actually hilarious 😂 I would have loved to see their faces as they listened in horror to 'Derek & Clive' 🤣 That's some assault to the ears if your taste is for the more classical end of the musical spectrum 😱

I've just received a notification 'Steve Armstrong has accepted your friend request'. I didn't friend request him 🙈 I've no idea how that happened!! He's my friend's husband who I've met twice on the school run. He'll think I'm a complete loooooooon!! But in positive news he did say yes 😂

Years ago I was stalking an ex who went to a local all boys school on friends reunited. Instead of registering and looking on the school page I added myself to the year group so that my very female name appeared in a list of all the boys in ‘leavers ‘99’. This stayed in place for at least two years as I didn’t know what I’d done and only found out when a friend who went to the same school brought it up with me on a night out. I’m still cringing now.

I once saw an upsetting news post on facebook and commented "this is disgusting." The next day I received a personal message from a women I had been at school with years ago asking what she had done to deserve my comment. I had put "this is disgusting" under a selfie she had posted!!!

I have one I always remember and it kills me, didn't happen to me but one of my clients...

So its valentines day and this woman takes a picture of her beloved dog with loads of silver heart mirrored balloons attached to the dogs collar and posts it on facebook with a happy valentines message.

Anyway about ten minutes later her close friend messages her and says “the reflection in the balloons, is that your lad?!”.

So she goes back on the pic looks at the balloons and there is her husband in the reflection bollock naked, crouched with his todger dangling between his legs taking a picture of the dog . I begged her to show me the picture and it was the best thing I’d ever seen.
