I just accidentally created a group on Messenger with my two ex-boyfriends,panicked and left the group

I HATE Facebook! I haven't actively used Facebook for years,but have the Messenger App as I sometimes get the odd message...

Anyway,for some reason,I decided to open the Messenger App and clicked on a conversation from my ex. We haven't spoken for about two years. Then,somehow I managed to accidentally send a thumbs up! I then panicked and then somehow changed the conversation colour?!!! Which came up as 'blanche has changed the conversation colour' and I was then like 'ABORT! ABORT! ABORT!' and then....god knows how....I managed to create a group with him and my other ex!

Oh the shame. I immediately left the group,but now,as I've left it...i seemingly can't get back in to delete it? So they're know in this sad little group together? Wondering why on earth I've suddenly randomly created this group and then left it!

Oh I've done worse.. stalked my ex on Facebook (drunk) only I didn't use the search bar. I used my status update. Woke up to see 'Bob Smith' in big letters on my timeline. Someone had actually liked it. This is one of many reasons I no longer drink alcohol.

Lol I've done the same thing.. it's surprisingly easy to do and even easy after a few gins 🤣

I once had a row with someone on my now deleted account. I somehow friend requested her and liked a comment. I don’t like Facebook.

I like that! It's so insouciant. Oh, we rowed? Yeh, that means fuck all to me. I've moved on.

Recently I was Facebook stalking my ex and his (beautiful) new girlfriend. When I was scrolling through photos of their latest exotic holiday, my phone froze and I jabbed the screen randomly. When it unfroze, I had tagged MYSELF on a glam photo of her and the ex cuddling up in a swanky beach bar! I couldn't then bloody work out how to untag myself for ages and somehow kept tagging myself in my panic.

Aaargh! Stupid technology

When I was about 15 I was looking at a classmates profile, I can't remember why and it wasn't someone I really knew that well but he was a genuinely nice, friendly guy. Later that day I was going out for a meal with extended family and posted a status at the location and tagging all my family members. Only I didn't post it as a status, I posted it on his wall! And the restaurant I was in had really bad signal so I spent ages frantically trying to delete it, not knowing if it had even sent in the first place, whilst also writing another post apologising and saying I have no idea how that happened!
Luckily it was never mentioned, I think I got out of that one easily!

I've done the accidental like whilst FB or IG stalking before. I had a like disappear from my IG recently from someone I know IRL, so I'm guessing that was done by mistake (bet they tapped it to try to zoom in).

Not at all in the same league as your slip, OP, but I recently posted on my work Facebook page rather than my personal one by accident. I have access to many business pages for work and must have forgotten to switch pages. Can’t remember what the post was and it was deleted before long but I still cringe about it. A lot of people follow our business page

I was guilty of stalking an ex. I was trying to send my sister (who I was chatting to at the time) a GIF of the little girl saying "snacks" but accidentally sent it to him 😩 I blocked him very quickly!

I should have been asleep hours ago. Instead I'm in pieces laughing in bed with grumpy dh getting more and more exasperated with me. It is 1:50 am!

I accidentally ‘reacted’ with the laughing emoji to a friend’s status that said ‘ I feel so guilty’. I tried to delete it but someone had already clocked it and wrote about ‘nasty friends’ in the comments. Knowing it was easily fixed I went to message the person but they’d already blocked me. A mutual friend messaged for me and received a reply about how she didn’t need negative people in her life who found her pain funny, she screen shot the conversation, added it to the comments on the original message with a rant about how some people shouldn’t expect forgiveness etc, etc. It was awful.

My mutual friend and I have both been blocked now. It was such an easy mistake to make but some people just don’t give the benefit of the doubt.

Yep, deactivating (not deleting) my account a few times has saved me from a multitude of Facebook sins. You just disappear when you deactivate.

Op I did something very similar once in that a group of guys I used to work with years ago and were friends (2 of which I slept with) but that I don't really talk to anymore posted a group picture of themselves at a stag do and I somehow managed to tag myself on their photo 😨
I was almost sick with horror when I realised and I couldn't untag myself I think because I wasn't friends with the actual person who'd posted it.

I once tagged myself on a picture of someone's cat on Facebook. No idea how. They obviously saw the tag but didn't say anything until I said oh sorry, I tagged your cat as me.
