To fancy men with big bellies?

I have a 'thing' for men with big bellies. Always have. DH has one. I'm always touching it, looking at it etc, I've no idea why I like it. 🤨🤨

I often worry that there's something wrong with me. I never, ever would attempt to manipulate anyone like those 'feeder' documentaries you see on TV. It's not about food, I just fancy men with big bellies in general. I know it's unhealthy to store fat there and I feel guilty about that. But I can't help liking it. It's like a fetish.

Anywhere between little pot belly and absolutely huge, yes. blushblush

I think for me it depends on who the tummy belongs to! My DH yes... The man pictured above, no!

JorisBonson · 05/07/2020 10:26

@LunaNorth

I love a dad bod, me.
Same. You can keep your abs and other muscles!

@therealkittyfane

Re the picture you posted. The size of his belly, yes I'm attracted to that. Or a much smaller pot belly too, it doesn't matter so much the size, anywhere from small to massive.

That particular guy in the picture though - not really attractive to me. The size of his belly yes (BlushBlush), but he looks ill with it, looks like ascites or something.

@BadAlice Greg Davies is mine!! Hand off, LOL
I love him

Fallsballs · 05/07/2020 10:33

I think it prudent to set the bar low when approaching middle age. Well done OP at least you are realistic. But it depends who the belly belongs to.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 05/07/2020 10:33

I like a chubby man too. Skinny men make me worried i would snap them like a twig. I think Ray Winstone is pretty special.

UnshakenNeedsStirring · 05/07/2020 10:33
  • Hands off!! I was so excited hahaha
Heischeatingisnthe · 05/07/2020 10:34

Did your dad have a beer belly growing up op. Genuine question.

bigbellyliker · 05/07/2020 10:36

@Heischeatingisnthe

No he didn't.

I read Willies too!! What is wrong with me? :)

My DP is 6ft4, 20 stone and the broadest, widest man I've ever seen. He has a slight belly but, he has a ridiculously wide chest. I do touch his belly and ask when his baby is due :)

GreekOddess · 05/07/2020 10:37

I'm surprised that you find the photo attractive but each to their own. Wouldn't it concern you that the man in the photo might find certain activities challenging?

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 05/07/2020 10:38

Send 'em all my way. I love muscles and a six pack Grin

Zaphodsotherhead · 05/07/2020 10:39

I think for me it's what it implies.

Ripped men (for me) implies that they spend all their time in the gym. Very fit, skinny men implies that they spend all their time cycling or running. Very belly-heavy men, I assume they spend all their time in the pub or drinking generally.

Hence, I just like normal shaped men. More on the skinny side than the big broad man side. But I've given up men now anyway, so it's all the more for the rest of you!

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 05/07/2020 10:41

I think it prudent to set the bar low when approaching middle age.

Yep, my bar is set so high that you'd need a rocket to reach it. That's why I'm single at 53 Grin

Will I be revising my bar settings? Nah, I'll celebrate my singledom Smile

CandidaAlbicans2 · 05/07/2020 10:43

You're neither reasonable or unreasonable, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and you like what you like. Personally though I don't find overweight or obesity at all attractive and it's a sexual turn off for me. I like lean (but not skinny), toned, fit men. Don't care if they're bald, have a small cock, false teeth, aren't wealthy, but I really don't like blubber.

MaxNormal · 05/07/2020 10:48

You should move to South Africa! In the rural hinterlands, men are so proud of their paunches that they actuallly have poolside competitions for the biggest and best beer belly. And everyone has them - even men who, from looking at their arms and legs were clearly not meant to have a big tummy, will diligently acquire one.

HansBanans · 05/07/2020 10:49

My DH also has a big belly and I love it. Skinny/toned men just aren't for me!

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 05/07/2020 10:50

I’ve never found muscular attractive

I do like broad square shoulder and big hands

HandsOffMyRights · 05/07/2020 10:50

Men's beer bellies celebrated.
Women's post C-section bodies shamed.

Waiting for the rules to change.

Boohoohoohooho · 05/07/2020 10:52

I don’t like big bellies as I think of the fat that’s inside of them. I can’t not think how horribly unhealthy it is and how uncomfortable it must be.

They aren't mutually exclusive. I have post C Sections belly and diastasis recti. I hate it. Wish it were celebrated.

Does Greg Davies do it for you?

Oh, yes 🥰 definitely

EugenesAxe · 05/07/2020 10:57

I’m surprised so many people have voted YABU. I’m so indifferent to this it’s amazing I’ve posted. You can fancy whatever you like OP; attraction is a weird thing.

HandsOffMyRights · 05/07/2020 10:58

Big

I am in the same position as you, after a twin pregnancy 14 years ago. Over the years I've experienced a few comments from males about 'when are you due?' (yawn) etc.

There was a thread here a couple of weeks ago where some prick had spouted bile about his wife's 'gunt'.

madcatladyforever · 05/07/2020 10:59

I can't stand massive bellies they look 9 months pregnant. I don't mind any other flaw or a bit of chus or love handles but massive round bellies no thanks. No man should look pregnant.
