I joined MN probably about 15 years ago when my first was born and it helped me loads then and through two subsequent miscarriages.
I was MsMummy then.
I drifted away and recently came back to ask for parents' insights into something I was researching but couldn't remember my login so had to set up a new account.
Since coming back FWR has been a bloody godsend. A lifeline in all the madness.
But it's also been really wonderful to see names of people still here who were active members and gave me advice when I first joined all those years ago.
That was it really. Just wanted to wave at the long-timers and say Hi. And thanks for being fabulous.

About 16 years, I think. Found it when ds1 was a baby. Can’t remember how.

Itisbetter · 02/07/2020 20:09

19 years. I love it.

isthismylifenow · 02/07/2020 20:16

20 years off and on.

I cannot even remember my first user name.

And the shit I would get from family, as the internet line was linked to the phone, they could never get hold of me as it was always engaged 😂

3ImpBed4 · 03/07/2020 10:49

Found AIBU since start of lockdown and took the plunge yesterday to become a member. This is my first post!

Davros · 04/07/2020 10:51

17 years. Same name throughout, even through the hacking

Nightbirdcackle · 04/07/2020 11:12

11 years. Only posted very occasionally under my first user name until about four years ago when I got some great advice from others on a difficult situation. Five name changes in total. Mumsnet has its ups and downs but I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Vagndidit · 04/07/2020 11:13

A little over 10 years

Neome · 04/07/2020 11:32

Ages, years, more than a decade at least. Dipping in and out and like someone else said my first username is lost in the mists of time. I think some technical fluff ( by me I’m sure) meant I had to rejoin. Probably fatally lost my password by killing some ancient PC.

Waving to anyone who can remember the feeling of recognising usernames and being a bit scared of the ones who seemed to know each other well and the extraordinary notion of meet-ups.

Support for partners of people with Autism.

Thinking if only this was here for me when my marriage went seriously wrong.

Absolutely willing people on to save themselves and their children, as I still do.

Since Elderly Korean Lady (2014?) but I lurked for about two years before that. I have another username for crafting threads and I changed once to ask about a personal question.
Feels like I’ve been here for AAAAGES!
I enjoy all sorts of threads, even Baby Names and Style and Beauty. I’ve bought lots of stuff on recommendations and been kept up to date with what’s going on in the UK. I muted all Brexit threads because I refused to accept that people would vote for it. What a surprise that was!

I’m not really qualified to give advice on Relationships but I dip in and out of them. And when COVID-19 struck here in Italy I hope I was a reassuring voice.

Mysterian · 04/07/2020 18:08

10 years. 10 long years. It was all fields...

hareagain · 04/07/2020 18:41

17 years. Different name and don't post much but reading, almost daily, has helped me in many ways over the years.

Z0rr0 · 05/07/2020 02:03

As everyone's so long term, can anyone help how to use it. How do people reply to certain comments, cross stuff out, and reply to comments that are bold and make them part of your answer, and tag previous posters?

crumpet · 05/07/2020 04:52

Since early 2003. No name change but have never been a particularly prolific poster.

Makinganewthinghappen · 05/07/2020 05:03

I remember being on when my son was young - he was born in 2006?

pinotgrigio · 05/07/2020 05:14

Elderly Korean Lady!! I've been here 18 years.

famousforwrongreason · 05/07/2020 05:54

11/12 years. I was addicted to aibu at one time. Spent many nights with tears of laughter streaming down my face.

@pandar look at the box where you write your reply. Under the box is three circles. The one with the capital ' i', in italics, click om there. It shows you all different ways of changing your text.
IHateCoronavirus · 05/07/2020 06:02
