To ask how long have you been on MN?

I joined MN probably about 15 years ago when my first was born and it helped me loads then and through two subsequent miscarriages.
I was MsMummy then.
I drifted away and recently came back to ask for parents' insights into something I was researching but couldn't remember my login so had to set up a new account.
Since coming back FWR has been a bloody godsend. A lifeline in all the madness.
But it's also been really wonderful to see names of people still here who were active members and gave me advice when I first joined all those years ago.
That was it really. Just wanted to wave at the long-timers and say Hi. And thanks for being fabulous.

I am here since Penis beaker, not sure how long ago that was.

20 years or so. Lived on the other side of the world. Joined because DNephew aged about 8 was being bullied and DSis was at her wit's end, I googled school bullying and up popped Mumsnet. DSis has been on nearly as long. It has definitely changed, as everything seems to, but I still enjoy coming here. Agree with previous poster that FWR provides a bit of sanity in a crazy world.

17 years or so I think. Many name changes and periods of not posting though. I think when I first joined it was fairly new, and you had to review a baby product or something to keep the site going.

Yes penis beaker brought me here too, don’t say it too loudly though cos there is a lot of “it all changed for worse after penis beaker”

Around 3 years under a couple of user names

Since my eldest was 2, was going through nasty divorce and custody battle with her father. She was 20 yesterday.

We had some nice lunch meet ups in a little pizza place near Liverpool Street Station.

13 years! since the birth of my 2nd DC.
Jumped ship from the now defunct Ivillage. Came here very mumsy and wanting breast feeding advice.
Have had invaluable advice from people here! and cried laughing at some threads.

About 19 years. Many name changes. Go through periods of not using it for months but come back to it always. Met one of my best friends through it.

Another who came from NM after penis beaker and felt much more at home here. Have met some wonderful people and made some friends for life.

Probably about ten years. According to some posts I am probably too old as I am a gran with adult grandchildren. However, I love the wide scope of interests. I have had advise and hope I have reciprocated on so many topics from the Geeky site, books,housekeeping, Politics etc.etc. Also, relationships which as I have been married 60 years with all the ups and downs that life throws at you. I am also on Gransnet but I must admit I find mumsnet a lot livelier. So hope no One is going to tell me to buzz off.

About 5 years I think.

I can’t believe it was only 2 years after I joined. What a load of cobblers it was.

Just over 10 years, when I was first pregnant with my eldest. Name changed a few times since then.

Since I was pregnant with my youngest who is nearly 12!

About 10 years? I deregged and reregged after the hacking. I love FWR.

nearly 17 years, name changes don't post nearly as much
