I was just about to post how funny I thought it all was and loved the comments when it told it was full and I couldn't add any comments - gutted so thought I would say "thought I found that post really strange and really funny!!!"
Can't even remember when I joined but never posted that often until recently (and still not a lot - just to ask advice) so maybe I am a newbie to but I think everyone on here is great, supportive and of their own opionion. I have had great comments form loads of you and as my mum lives 300 miles away from me and my mil lives about 160 I have no one to ask (to a degree).
PS I am not a middle class bore, I am like most, I work part time (start at 5.30am) then look after our dd all day and then sometimes go back to work. Needs must but I love both my jobs (one as a mother and one as an employee).
That's all - sorry to bore you all!

PS I think talulasmummy has some issues .. ?

aitch; yes thats the one. will avoid her like the plague! but just had 3andnomore trying to pick holes in me again. she must think that just because my brothers a pe teacher,(and a nail bar owner i know pays for her sons education,)i should know the ins and outs of the whole public/private education system(??)

some people just wont give up

3andnomore · 26/09/2007 21:18

talula...omg..honest to god...I was not trying to belittle you or pick holes...it truely was a genuine question triggered by the previous posts!
I am german, btw...nd my es only started secondary school...but well, I really honest god find a lot of things, like the school system, and the different names, etc...confusing...
sorry if you thought I was getting at you!
(BTW, click on my profile, look where I am living, and you will see...I am not middleclass, or anything)

3andnomore · 26/09/2007 21:19

Talula, why do you think everyone is getting out to get you?
And I am not being sarky or anything...

talulasmum · 26/09/2007 21:20

3andnomore: german..... are you still taking the piss?

SueBaroo · 26/09/2007 21:23

talula, blimey, you're a wee bit defensive...

3andnomore · 26/09/2007 21:24

no, I am not...my hubby is in teh armed forces and I met him when he was posted in germany...I have lived over in the UK and cyprus (within a english community) for 12 years....

Desiderata · 26/09/2007 21:27

I suggest we stop feeding this strange bint, tbh.

A middle-class name-changer taking the piss is about the sum of it. Working class people have more manners.

talulasmum · 26/09/2007 21:28

3andnomore; why do i think people are out to get me. umm now let me think ? fuck off talula, go and live on an island talula, that kind off thing. but all water off a ducks back now.
nothing wrong in being german by the way. but germany always looks like a really place to live.
why you left i guess.

3andnomore · 26/09/2007 21:28

nownow Desi...haven't I just read Twigs thread....where it's all about how MN has changed, etc...

talulasmum · 26/09/2007 21:32

3andnomore; that should of read "boring" place to live. but i think that about switzaland.

3andnomore · 26/09/2007 21:34

a really what place to live...sorry...not being picky....but I suppose insert somehting negative...seing that the next bit was, I assume that was why you left...
well, teh reason I left is, that I fell in love with a man (my husband of 12 years) and that he was posted back to the UK and that neither of us believed in long distance relationship, so, we got married...dispite everyone thinking it was a bit of a stupid idea, as we didn't even know a year back then...lol...but of course those people were wrong
I do miss germany for somethings and when I am in germany (to visit family) I soon miss some things from englad...only time I didn't miss anything was when I was in Cyprus...had a lovely time out there

And o.k. I can see why you are...erm...tetchy...fair do's but I really can't see why you took my post that wrong...I know the first part was for you, but the 2. bit was more generally...the reason I did ask was, that someone mentioend their Independent school being a school where you pay a fee...and as we had a look at the local independent school (to see if we would enrol es) and I know that it wasn't a fee paying school...jsut expensive in other ways (i.e. the expected schooltrips, Uniform, etc...)...mind you it looked horrible and strict and made me shudder...

3andnomore · 26/09/2007 21:35

lol we cross posted...
and no Germany isn't boring Depends where you live of course

3andnomore · 26/09/2007 21:37

OH, and as for Xenia...I love her for teh entertainment value....but, must admit, I don't think of her as a real person....but then, I have never actually come across such a eprson in real life...seen them on TV...and all that...but not in real life

talulasmum · 26/09/2007 21:38

3andnomore; do you think you'll stay in england, or would you like to go back to germany one day?

3andnomore · 26/09/2007 21:40

well...in a way I would love to go back....Germany is a great place to raise children, imo...however, it is highly unlikely, because dh can't speak german...neither can the Kids really...so, I doubt that...!
The bummer is, that dh might have to rejoin his regiment, which is stationed in Germany, but because we have a House here and don't want to unsettle the Kids in tehir schools, etc...it would mean him being in germany and me over here it would only be for 2 years...but it would really annoy me...

talulasmum · 26/09/2007 21:49

3andnomore; sorry to hear that, but agree with you. you and kids should stay here. hard i know, but 2 years really isnt that long.

3andnomore · 26/09/2007 21:51

well, and it means that we will be going to visit Germany more often and won't have to stay with my mum (who I really love and all that, but who lives in a small 1 bed flat...so, it does get a tad cramped...), we can get a Welfare house over there for our visits

talulasmum · 26/09/2007 21:58

sounds good

3andnomore · 26/09/2007 22:04
