I was just about to post how funny I thought it all was and loved the comments when it told it was full and I couldn't add any comments - gutted so thought I would say "thought I found that post really strange and really funny!!!"
Can't even remember when I joined but never posted that often until recently (and still not a lot - just to ask advice) so maybe I am a newbie to but I think everyone on here is great, supportive and of their own opionion. I have had great comments form loads of you and as my mum lives 300 miles away from me and my mil lives about 160 I have no one to ask (to a degree).
PS I am not a middle class bore, I am like most, I work part time (start at 5.30am) then look after our dd all day and then sometimes go back to work. Needs must but I love both my jobs (one as a mother and one as an employee).
That's all - sorry to bore you all!

PS I think talulasmummy has some issues .. ?

sugar, i have one middle class breast, and one working class one, i expose them depending on the company i am in at the time

meemar · 25/09/2007 16:34

sugarmatches - is it the clothes horse v airer thread?

I don't consider myself middle class or boring, but I did post on it

sugarmatches · 25/09/2007 16:36

Nope, but that was on the dull borderline

Judy1234 · 25/09/2007 17:11

Mumsnet could never be a very middleclass site unless it changed the name to include mummy and not that rather working class "mum" word.

2shoes · 25/09/2007 17:27

Xenia pmsl that is good.

StealthPolarBear · 25/09/2007 17:37

maybe it should have regional varieties, 'mamsnet' for us in the NE

sugarmatches · 25/09/2007 17:37

Well Stealth, I am not sure you are up to the middle class standard on MN if you don't refer to Jacintha and Tara as norks!

StealthPolarBear · 25/09/2007 17:41

yes but i was asking whether i could freeze my chicken nork after it had been cooling in the kitchen all night

Bitchnet?? not my opinion, i think you are all lovely, but we enjoy nothing more than a good bitch, admit it

talulasmum · 25/09/2007 20:02

CHEESET; can i just say thank you for being the only one who seems to get my point. i know every section of life have their "anoraks" and i guess this is where the mumsnet ones hang out! you understand what i mean about them being so boring, if someone annoyed you in waitrose car park would you really come home and talk about it all morning on here! no, me neither, and they think im a troubled loner, with nothing better to do ! ha ha. i know you havn't read all the posts, (ive only read half of them ) but they really are horrible. aitch is the worst, total professional, pretends to be kind, i fall for it, and then she has great delight in taking the piss?? but she has lots of hangers on.... so beware! i was having a bit of a "pimms moment" before you came along " 900 of them, 1 of me " so thanks for taking my side, just dont leave me!! did you read any of their poetry? omg the only poetry i read at school was on the toilet doors! cheeset, thanks once again. hope to talk to you soon.

LITTLELAPIN; thank you for the poem, ive printed it off & its in a frame next to my picture of ken livingstone. your one of the more wittier mums on here, and i think you know where im coming from, but your far to under the influence of the mums net "heavy's " to really side with me. but i hope one day you'll break free.

LORAYN; thank you for telling me you think you love me, i had another one of my bleary eyed moments when i read that, snow patrols "chasing cars" was playing in the background and i knew i was getting all emotional again, but then i remembered what my 2nd pet hate is after middleclass bores;

middleclass butch lesbians.

Whooosh · 25/09/2007 20:08

What about middle class "lipstick" lesbians? Are they bad too?

theUrbanDryad · 25/09/2007 20:08

hasn't talula's mum come out yet? (speaking of lesbians - arf!)

talulasmum · 25/09/2007 20:14

im not an expert on lesbians, but dont they all look like fat pat from eastenders, or that french tennis player?

theUrbanDryad · 25/09/2007 20:15

yes sweetie, they do.

now you've made that lovely conclusion, would you like a lie down? your brain is obviously not capable of much more excitement today.

Lorayn · 25/09/2007 20:17

LOL Did talulasmum just call me a middle class butch lesbian???
HAHAHAHA
I KNEW I would get a new name sooner or later woooooooooohooooooooo

SenoraPostrophe · 25/09/2007 20:17

talulasmum - I really think you need to let this go. if people annoy you so much, why reply to them?

theUrbanDryad · 25/09/2007 20:18

listen you, ive just as much right to be on here as you, so you go and lie down. im sure you've been on here all day discussing how "miffed" you were that the milkman wasnt wearing matching socks.

Middleclassbutchlesbian · 25/09/2007 20:21

Talulasmum can we discuss that date now, I'm into a bit of e-dating.

LowFat · 25/09/2007 20:23

Can some one please advise how to forcibly kick politley ask DH to go out and watch his bloody exciting football match with his cronies buddies, so I can drool over enjoy Lord of the Rings

talulasmum · 25/09/2007 20:24

senorapostrophe; i just wanted to talk to cheeset, cant i do that? im on here five minutes and some idiot has already told me to go and lie down in the usual patronising way.
