Would you buy a house next to a grave yard?

Just looking for opinions on if this would put buyers off a house or not. Found a lovely property but it wouldn’t be our ‘forever’ home so would likely need to sell it at some point and am wondering if it would put the majority of buyers off or not. I’m not woo and find old graveyards peaceful. I wouldn’t choose to live next to a current one that would be different to me, but I’m fine with these old graves.

YABU - It would put me off a house
YANBU - it would not put me off a house.

It wouldn't bother me....it's not the dead you've got to worry about.

If it is an old graveyard I would consider it but absolutely not if it was an 'active' graveyard. We ruled out a house that's garden backed onto a graveyard for that very reason. The house has been on the market for three years.

This thread has made me look up the previous owners of our house. 2 of them are buried next door so I am going today to say hi. :)

I find graveyards very peaceful and interesting so I would be quite happy next to one and it will be very quiet
