I need to cut my lawn. Do you think I'll need to do it again before the winter?

CatIsSleepy · 23/09/2007 20:55

that's it, I want a footmuff for christmas

pointydog · 23/09/2007 20:55

that would be a footmuff, mb

Slubberdegullion · 23/09/2007 20:56

now that's a nice looking foot muff you've got there mb.

pointydog · 23/09/2007 20:56

(you see, if we could show pix directly in message we wouldn't have the problem of people not clicking on links.)

pointydog · 23/09/2007 20:56

(and sorry, I know that thread is dead and should never be raised again)

Blandmum · 23/09/2007 20:57

I always would worry that I'd be in my muff (as it were) and the phone would ring and I'd leap up, and fall arse over tit.

and would be embarassed explaining the reason for my concussion in A and E

Blandmum · 23/09/2007 20:58

and My dh might want to get into my muff, and heaven knows where that would end.....

OP posts:
CatIsSleepy · 23/09/2007 20:58

hmm, muff-related accidents
wonder if there are any statistics on that

pointydog · 23/09/2007 20:59

A muff big enough for two? Goodness, is that possible?

pointydog · 23/09/2007 20:59

You know what they say, no muff too tuff

Blandmum · 23/09/2007 20:59

I could do a chi squared test to see if single muff are more dangerous than double muffs.

and would they attract the snails?

OP posts:
Slubberdegullion · 23/09/2007 21:00

electric muff

motherinferior · 23/09/2007 21:00

Ah, that is precisely the site from which I have bought my current slippers. Now, should I go for the mules this time, do you think?

(Would tell you about my discount, that being boring, but it is linked to day job which isn't, sadly.)

CatIsSleepy · 23/09/2007 21:00

MI, I think you have to go for the foot-muff option

motherinferior · 23/09/2007 21:01

Also MB you would have to explain to A&E staff that you had been muff-diving, which would be not boring.

slowreader · 23/09/2007 21:01

Did you cut the lawn mb?

Slubberdegullion · 23/09/2007 21:01

A safer, non trippage option for use when MNing

motherinferior · 23/09/2007 21:01

We had a footmuff sent into work. I tried it on as a hat.

Tamum · 23/09/2007 21:01

It's my mother's birthday next weekend. I have bought her a grater.

I have knitted quite a lot of rows of my blanket today. All garter stitch.

motherinferior · 23/09/2007 21:02

Is it a rotary grater, or one of those microplane ones?

Tamum · 23/09/2007 21:03

Microplane. Thanks for asking.

Blandmum · 23/09/2007 21:03

You are a card MI, do you do that sort of things with lamp shades as well?

I do, it is a strange for of compulsion with me.....

OP posts:
motherinferior · 23/09/2007 21:04

Rotary graters have a certain charm. To my mind.

pointydog · 23/09/2007 21:05

har! I like the electric foot rest. ONly to be used when wearing brown cords

Blandmum · 23/09/2007 21:05

My mother had a Spong Mincer. It was green
