admittedly, ive only been a member for a few months, but i have come to this conclusion. take today for instance. the main topic of conversation on this section is; parents of 5 year olds worried about which senior school to go to? on that thread is the biggest bore & snob you will ever have the misfortune to meet. this popular thread is closely followed by mums worried about whats in their kids packed lunch? mums get a life! im off for a fag.

yep, it's true, you really are rubbish at that talulasmum. now go look at the pyjamas.

LittleBella · 24/09/2007 21:20

ROFL and dismay mixed at those pyjamas

Man the world is full of nutters

Lorayn · 24/09/2007 21:21

I did too backtobasics, luckily I moved house and had no internet for a few weeks, when I came back it had all died down and I carried on posting.
Funny thing is I think my first thread actually slagged off a lot of mumsnetters

I agree BtoB.
I was shocked by some of the things people posted on here at first. I was in the same place as talulasmum not long ago.
Now that I put it into perspective...MN rocks!

It is just a laugh, not real life.

Lorayn · 24/09/2007 21:26

ah, k, thanks.
Well that quote was my favourite aphorism then

Aitch · 24/09/2007 21:31

so clearly an aphorism doesn't have to rhyme, then. has no-one looked at the sodding pyjamas?

Desiderata · 24/09/2007 21:31

Don't listen to the rabbit. She's confused; mistaken.

An aphorism is a small, green fly that attacks roses and other assorted plants, innit.

Mhamai · 24/09/2007 21:32

Kerry, I've put my poem over on culture vultures, your name is on the thread.

Aitch · 24/09/2007 21:32

loooooook at the pyjamas... they're religious.

sugarmatches · 24/09/2007 21:33

Aphorism is a posh word for adage. Like saying infer instead of assume.

I like it!!

Here's something for mummy (or daddy) Aitch.

RustyBear · 24/09/2007 21:39

I looked at the pyjamas.
I'm still trying to work out wtf the girl has on her head.

Desiderata · 24/09/2007 21:42

... or littlelapin!!

Nothing rhymes with that either. I've been trying for ten minutes

chocabloc · 24/09/2007 21:43
